This must be a joke or someone must have Misreaded, because I don't see another reason to suggest Lickalotapus in the first place, the fifth letter is obvious a O
The creator of the Geometry Dash level actually put a message to subscribe to you in the place where you said it would be in your joke? That’s amazing.
That airport from MW2 being in Family Guy is insane. But this happens so often. I noticed this quite heavily when playing the newer MW2 back when it released. Crazy how much is actually "ripped off," but it's awesome that Family Guy pulled that off and awesome catch
There are actually a few different sotuations where 47 can talk to his victims before they die. Think there's a video that complies them, it's cool to see how cold and calculating 47 truly is
Detail Suggestion: I dont know if you’ve done this detail before: in Persona 5 Royal Akechi’s all out attack reads: “My sole interest is to uncover the truth”, and in the 3rd semester his attack changes to reveal to the text: “I decide the truth” showing his true colours
Will recommend Persona 4 Golden (if not The Animation if one wants to watch a basic anime) first, but yeah, niche yet great game. Superlative dubs, too.
Regarding the Hitman dialogue you have with your targets: Dartmoor and Emma Carlile bring you the dialogue option if you do the murder mystery part of the mission and then ask for the files for the constant, which makes her realize who you are and what your mission is.
The Timesplitters detail with the two guards reminds me of a similar detail in No One Live Forever. On the 13th mission (The Indomitable Cate Archer) when exploring you can find a room where you can hear a guard talking romantically to someone. When you enter inside you will find the guy and a goat with two glasses of wine and a candle.
I'm so happy to see ODST in this. Halo has GREAT Easter Eggs. Rocket Sloth covers a good bit of them if you ever need to look any up. If not, and you've not done it yet, Halo 3 ODST, Halo 3, and Halo 4 all have Red vs Blue (a Halo webseries by Rooster Teeth that has been around since April 1, 2003) characters to voice Easter eggs in game or in trailers for the games.
I got to playtest Family Guy Back to the Multiverse. They were having us test controls mostly. But after I got through the stuff they were looking at, and my playtest partner was still stuck with video game fundamentals, they loaded this level for me. I got about 30 seconds in and I was like, "Wait... is this No Russian?" The playtest guy seemed so happy because I clocked it. I thought it was a genius move; I wanted to see a ton of levels riffing on other Activision games. I never knew what happened to the game. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
To be perfectly honest, I love details in which a villain calls a weapon or a place that the protagonists call it something else. For example is in persona 5 royal where our protagonists confront maruki in his palace. Akechi calls it a palace and maruki eludes that he calls the place something else before calling it a palace as well.
Another time in hitman where you talk to your target before you kill them is at the mountain hospital map. Where if you sneak in to the operating room where one of the targets are at, while wearing the classic agent 47 suit, you can give the target a heart attack by confronting him.
3:40 the answer is def hippopotamus, as its referencing the hippo kill you can do on the same level, what most likely happened is that that viewer just wanted to fool around
Agreed. We already got a secret rerelease of Timesplitters 2 in the otherwise flawed Homefront: The Homefront, so why not a modern multiplatform rerelease of FP?
Stalcraft has a pretty cool detail. In inventory, folding a atock on foldable guns will take up less inventory space. Also, if you have a loaded gun it will show the loaded weight of that gun. Unloading the bullets from the gun will also change the weight of the gun to empty mass.
A good detail from Halo 3: ODST is the felt recoil from weapons is noticeably stronger than that of previous titles. A really nice subtle detail showing that you aren't a super soldier. (And the weapons in the Halo universe are big.)
Dead Island 2- there’s a sword you can get called “The One”. This is a reference to the classic movie “Highlander”. I think it’s the one the main villain uses
Not sure if you've ever covered it but I'm ghost recon the graphics for stuff like mud and snow etc is really really good. You crouch, your knee will have mud on it. You slide down a snowy hill your gloves and back will be covered in snow. You go in water and it cleans everything off. It's really well done
3:25 As others have already said, the answer is "hippopotamus" - given that there is an actual hippo in that same level. I just want to add that "lickalotopus" (_ i _ _ o _ o _ t a _ u s , for comparison) doesn't actually fit into the answer. Even if you were to assume the first 'o' is really an 'a', whose tail is cropped incredibly short and not really that visible, there is no way that the other, more clearly visibly marked with a tail, 'a' is actually an 'o'. I mean, I guess there's always the possibility that the game devs misspelled it "lickolotapus", but at that point you're really stretching for that specific answer. Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar and not a Freudian symbol for "Black Jack".
Captain Eggscellent, I'm not sure if you captured this in Spider-Man 2 (2004), did you know that after you beat the first boss Rhino, you can actually keep hitting him while he's webbed up upside down and defeated, therefore causing Rhino to ridicule you for doing this.
First game is too rough, second game still looks and plays well on Homefront: The Revolution of all games via cheat code, and Future Perfect does deserve a multiplatform rerelease.
Another cool easter egg from the Hitman series is the samurai helmet that can be located in the last mission of Hitman 1 and 2. on this helmet, there is the logo of obs and the triforce from legend of zelda.
Brilliant videos and to anyone that has an xbox series s or x with gamepass. You can get Timesplitters future Perfect and 2 both Separately for £8.40 or together for £16.08.
One detail from Halo: Combat Evolve and one easter egg from Duke Nukem Forever: In Halo CE on the level 343 Guilty Spark, in a room shortly after the Flood are introduced, you can see some great environmental storytelling, include a landing where you can see Marines and Covenent joined forces in their last moments, as their bodies are laying together side by side, and a pillar where a Marine tried to climb as high as possible to escape the Flood but died, and his body is still up there. It's a nice touch. In Duke Nukem Forever, in the strip club dream sequence, you can find a desk with a top spinning endlessly on it. It's an obvious reference to Inception, which came out the year before.
Not sure if this was covered yet, but in Amnesia: The Bunker (no spoilers involved) when you're inside the French pillbox you will get shot at while your head peaks out the window. If you use the item drag command to put items in the window nothing will happen unless you put a soldiers helmet in the window. Really cool attention to detail
Hey Egg, I know you mentioned in one of your videos that you missed the more elaborate Easter eggs. I wanted to let you know to keep an eye on Call of Duty's DMZ, they had an update that included an underground lab thing, and most of the rewards out of it include hints towards monsters. Maybe just something to monitor
It's dmz... Its cod.. Its shit.. Its using anything to get marks attentions.. It ain't anything to focus on unless he Wants to waste his time, and koschei complex isn't "an underground lab" it's a cold war soviet missile base..
In Page Not Found there is a secret when you jump during the beginning text right before it disappears and one if you hold as soon as it starts. I hope this helps and I love you vids.
I got a detail in resident evil 7 for you: throughout the game you can find bottles of bleach (poorly textured) and the brand name of it is "HeyBro" it feels accompanying knowing there's a bottle of bleach encouraging you through the baker family
That's cool about the subscribe thing. I'd be careful with those hitman details... they're less easter eggs and more intended. you can also get the rockstar near his lawyer and they interact.
A cool detail I just noticed as I revisited Metal Gear Solid I that the Cyber Ninja fight, whenever Ninja does an acrobatic attack near and object, it will move or break.
Wow, as soon as the airport clip started I recognized it, then I talked myself out of it because surely not, most airports look similar anyways, then you said it was!
My friend and I used to play Time Splitters Future Perfect multi player back in the day, Mostly on the level you were showing at the start of the clip with the recommended weapon loadout. My go to weapon was the double barreled shotgun, and if it wasn't at a spawn point as I did the rounds to keep it stocked on ammo, or to get a new one if I had to respawn, I would shout "WHO STOLE MY BOOMSTICK!?!" in understandable anger.
In the Timesplitter: Future Perfect detail, in that same room you listened to the announcements, there is a lever you could interact with and call a train that can kill enemies
2:48 in Hitman 3 there are some conversations in: Dartmoor Berlin and Mendoza. For Dartmoor you have to investigate as the private detective the murder case. For Berlin you have to hide and blend in as the club owner (or somethingh like this, I am not sure anymore) For Mendoza you have to talk to the "friend" of Diana three times
In Titanfall 2, when you are escaping the simulation dome, the prowlers will claw at the side of the containment cells. When you climb on top of the cell, the prowler will look around and then claw at the glass on the ceiling of the cell. If that didn't make sense, just check it out yourself.
In halo 3 if you watch a marine getting infected by the flood alive you can see him twisting his own neck, either to end his own life because of the pain or the flood making room for it's new "head"
Maybe this detail to cover: In company of heroes if you click unit so many time they will tell you to stop and also when playing as British army or panzer elite they will react to weather condition as we click
Not sure if this counts as an easter egg or hidden detail but... There are 2 special reload animations in the RE4 remake. The airport thing is really weird. I wonder if it was just a convenience thing, where they started from the No Russian model and just retextured it, and didn't expect anybody to notice?
If yall have ever played perfect dark zero. Mission zero has you piloting a drone and if you look at your character while piloting the drone and try to attack yourself, your partner will chime in with some funny lines.
Another Back to the Multiverse easter egg, if a player plays as Peter in the Hospital multplayer map, you can hear the song You Have Aids play by the exit.
3:40 the answer is most likely hippopotamus, as there is a hippo in the level (it can be used in one of my favorite kills 😅)
Yes, was going to suggest this haha
Do you fall for every 'please engage with my video' prompt or do you think it wasn't actually clearly hippo?
This must be a joke or someone must have Misreaded, because I don't see another reason to suggest Lickalotapus in the first place, the fifth letter is obvious a O

That Airport Detail is Mind Blowing. Holy Crap That's amazing
Hitman has LOADS of interactions with targets. You can be a painter, a tattoo artist, a house salesman and that's just off the top of my head.
true, but i think he meant the interactions, where you confront them that you are about to kill them.
Regarding the Hitman dialogue you have with your targets: Dartmoor and Emma Carlile bring you the dialogue option if you do the murder mystery part of the mission and then ask for the files for the constant, which makes her realize who you are and what your mission is.
