OneUp Aluminium Pedal Quick Service
Maintenance TUTORIAL step-by-step 🛠️ - Спорт
more service tutorials should be like this. straight to the point without a whole life story, clear explanation and video. thanks
Thanks for the feedback, really appreciated! 💯
Video was great. He covered exactly what i needed to service the bearings and pedal shaft on my One Up aluminium pedals. Straight to the point and did not waste my time w/ useless knowledge I did not need. Good on ya snowft86. Side note, those pedals I just put on my bike days ago now and I absolutely dig these. Great large platform to place feet with outstanding pins to keep you there. The bright green aluminium looks absolutely amazing with all the other upgrades I have thrown on my '17 Giant Trance. Now all I need is to get my Yeti SB 145 turquoise blue carbon frame and attach the Fox Factory Float DPX2 as well as the Factory 38 GRIP2 with all the other amazing goodies I have acquired recently. Yeah!!! Excuse me as I digress...
Ehi Andrew thanks a lot, in the tutorial i tried to do my best to keep it short, but this requires scripting (i wrote down what to say and then i record only the audio)! Wow great build ahead...nice toys!
Nice video, I decided to remove the brass bushing so I could clean and put new grease in. I found that the bearing retainer and the screw retaining the bushing are the opposite hand thread to the pedal to arm thread and this is relatively easy to remember
Thanks man, and good job! Yes if you remove that bushing, is exactly how you said 👌🏻
Brilliant video, all the info I needed, thank you.
You are welcome! 👊🏻🤝🏻
straight to the point ! thanks for the help

You are welcome 😁🤝🏻
Finally doing mine after 1600 miles. Let's just say they're pretty damn dry.
ahahah i can imagine! 🤣👍👌
Cool 😃👍

I almost feel like you should add the word rebuild to your title to make it easy to find. This video shows exactly how to install a new bearing kit as well
I will🤘🏻, thanks for the tip!
bearing is seized onto axle. can not get it off. :(
i will try to heat the bearing to get it off, but not the axle. Probably not an easy task!
@@OresteCiotoli I used a nail punch and hammer while the axle was fixed in a vice. worked great! thx :D
There is no reason to grease the axle spindle. It doesn't contact the pedal. The bushings are the only thing that needs grease.
I found the grease all around the axle, that's why I did 😁
@@OresteCiotoli You did the right thing. As also stated by OneUp you have to "Grease all the outer surfaces of your axle (8). It is most important to grease the silver surfaces where the bearing (2) and bushing (10) sit". Maybe, you should have used less grease on the axle.
@@lucated65 i will definitely use less in the next time 👌🏻
@@lucated65 One up specifies to use a lot of grease - the excess is supposed to squeeze out.
Hi friend! good video and thanks for sharing🤟greetings🙋 #ivan_mtb
