Cool man! I've done a lot of experimentation and studying with Unity... started multiple games and never finished them. Unreal looks pretty solid! Probably better than Unity from what I've heard so far. Great to see this and hope to see more. I like how it has nothing to do with Art Stuff, but it's just what you are into!

Ben Liou It seems better so far! Though I have minimal experience with Unity, Ive read some pretty crucial things (like unreal offers acces to the engine code which is a huge deal. you arent limited to the engines capability)

So...this is cool and I would love more games in this perspective, with 2D sprites.
Have you seen Exanima/Sui Generis though? :D (iso perspective, directional and physics+skill driven combat)

JanPospisil42 Glad you like it Jan!Yeah that game was in the back of mind :) Had forgotten the name of it though. There are definitely similarities, but what I have planned is far less ambitious and almost more "arcadey". I'm focusing more on what will feel & play fun vs fapping too hard on realistic/physics based combat :) Def wanna play that game though if it ever finishes!

Thats a great idea! I messed around with Game Maker Studio. It looks like Unreals a lot better though. I've heard good things about Unity too.

Game making is a big task especially if you are doing it on your own, most people make the mistake of starting big with their first games and ending up abandoning them because of lack of time or realizing how much effort and work you actually have to put to make something decent.

Danny Kundzinsh Hey Danny! Appreciate the input and you are 100% correct. Luckily I have some experience in the game industry, I've worked on some huge projects and been in a few indie projects as well. Pretty much all of the indie projects crumbled because the idea was too ambitious, so I've definitely learned from that :) If I keep working on this it will be a hobby and + the game idea so far is very small scope to avoid this very problem!
I love extra credits, and its def a great reference :)
