I spent 30 years of my life avoiding getting my GED.I been working basic jobs .I seen this video about a month ago and after listening to it.I signed up for Adult school.I have passed my social studies,science and language tests.All I have to pass now is the math test and then I will finally have my GED diploma.Most of my family members are drug addicts or alcoholics.I am the youngest of 3 brothers and 3 sisters.I use to think I will never get there.I listen to this video every night before bed and when I wake up.I am fighting that fear daily and I will win.Thank you again Jim Carrey 🥰💯

Most people tend to fend them off as clowns, yet - they are the only ones not taking themselves too serious for life, they can joke about anything and everything, also themselves. Being stuck in a job you hate, I can relate to that i've had my fare share. It was mostly not the job itself I hated but the working environment and way I was treated by co-workers or bosses.
I’ve always looked up to Jim Carrey...he’s always been funny and real. Later in his career we got to see that serious side...he’s truly a genuinely good human being. I’m glad this was made in his honor

I truly believe that human beings are a social animal. That without each other, we simply have no purpose or reason for being. We literally need each other for everything; whether it be friendship, love, help, and even commerce. Isolation is a slow and patient killer. Never be afraid or shy to put your hand out to someone who needs it. Because maybe someday, that someone could be you.
the "human", your name, your identity, moral understanding, ethik and worth are all sozial aspects. but there is more to you, more to us. alone is just a pseudonym for all one. if you understand your self, or all the others you on the sam position alone or with others. your ego is a sozial construct, but your ego isnt the one with faith and spiritual connection, there is more. try meditiation or try to understand and feel your music, your sound, listen to your breath and body and hold your mind open without a thought. just a bit every day.

Single mom here. I have a 13 year old and 2 year old. Been living with my abusers mom for almost a year. I’ve experienced some dark, dark times but today is better than it was. I hate it here as I’m almost 36 and shouldn’t go through this but I’ve learned to know myself. Gone through hardship while identifying manipulation. I just know to keep working, keep setting an example and knowing that I will persevere. Any single parent going through the same but don’t believe there’s light at the end of the tunnel it’s there. Keep pushing.

When I listen to this, I'm reminded that I felt these things on an instinctual level when I was quite young. Jim Carey is an absolutely down to earth person with a very healthy mindset. i wish so badly i could meet him just to sit down and talk about things. we should be thankful he views things like this in such a way that he can share and inspire others over just worrying about himself and his own life. i really hope there are much more people like this who can also transmit these things to our future people, children!
Wow Jim Carry is NOT just a actor he also can tell it like it is! I really love him and how he makes people like myself laugh when we're feeling sad. I lost EVERYTHING my husband died almost four years ago, was taken for granted and all the money we had is now gone. I live alone and been through allot feeling alone, sad and depressed knowing that all I once had poof is no more. They say life is precious but really it's time because we never know from one day to the next so I don't know where my road will lead but I pray 🙏 things will work themselves out for me

Everything has been against me this past week and instead of pouting, I pushed through, did what I planned to do, and decided to take my most recent obstacle and turn it into an opportunity to be grateful for what I did have in that moment. I thanked God and pushed through. Then he gave me this to watch. He provides obstacles to test our character. Our challenges are opportunities to grow. Love y'all.

you still suffer, but it does not matter anymore. spirituality is more. its about completation, resonanz and the beauty of life. who talks about ending other people suffering and how spirituality helps is on the way creating a cult. all life is important. everyone walks his own path, but we can resonate and help each other. but, its hard to express that matters, because people tend to interpret it for there own needs and twist the meaning. questions are more help then answers.

The day you find your purpose in life, will be the day you have found yourself! Through many obstacles of darkness in my past, as I made my way towards the light, Jim you was one of the voices I listened to. May all seek the light and find their purpose in life.
I love his observation of the kids playing soccer. Being consistently present in all facets of life, not just sports, is something I think all of us need to work on. Try your best to live in this immeasurable NOW, try to not set expectations and truly live in the moment. It’s something on a daily basis I have to remind myself to do.
Side comment: putting yourself in everyone’s shoes and being accepting of all walks of life no matter the moment you are in is a valuable tool I have learned over time and I urge the world to take a step back from your reality and understand one thing:
