    My folks told me if I did some illegal shit they will turn me in. Of course I wouldn’t put myself in that situation but sometimes jail is the best place to save a person from destroying themselves. I think if you indulge in the street shit, there shouldn’t be a way out. Nothing but negativity in that lifestyle. Shouldn’t be “going legit”.

    When I was a kid I robbed some houses that belonged to super Rich vacation home owner and my mom found all kinds of electronics and shit in my closet. My father let me run and my mother called the police. My father is a crackhead who I haven’t seen in a decade and my mother is a upstanding citizen. She made the right choice and probably saved my life. I got caught in 2 days and went to juvi for a year. After that I kept violating probation and I continued into my adulthood. I haven’t been arrested in tears and I work hard and pay my bills. She saved me.

    When you refuse to hold your children accountable you are failing them as a a father. It’s bad enough I failed them by allowing them to get into a life of crime, I failed them if I didn’t do whatever it takes to get them out of it. I’m turning my son in, I’d rather visit him through a glass and have him be able to talk back instead of visiting his grave and hearing silence in return.

    • @JimmyCrackCorn_
      @JimmyCrackCorn_ Рік тому

      You hear any white families turning in their criminal sons?
      How do you know this man didn't try to talk to his son or school him?
      Every parent should do their best to be an outstanding example to their kids nonetheless, but parents can do so much. At the end of the day, young people have to make their decisions and be able to recognize right and Wrong, EVEN IF DAD WAS A SERIAL KILLER, OR MOM WAS A SUBWAY CAR DANCING CRACKHEAD, everybody knows right and Wrong!!
      Blaming parents is played out!
      This man turned his life around and made something of himself, his son could have done the same!

Made me make smarter decisions in this life and I never blamed a single mf for my life or my problems. He as a father definitely could’ve made better decisions, this is coming from a young man raising a young man in this world. He never should have let him go back with his mom. A quote I heard recently, “raise your children so you can spoil your grandchildren, if you spoil your children you will end up raising your grandchildren.” His son needed discipline and a father to be constant in his life.
