Oh my…I’m in love with the color and design on the salt bucket. And I grew up having the ice cream maker at my Grandparent’s parties. Love all of these items!

I remember the pain of churning Ice cream by hand. To this day it is a tradition to make home made ice cream at holidays with home made chocolate syrup. I did up grade to the wooden electric maker but it's still wooden. It's my favorite. I also have a newer plastic one. Love making our own ice cream. Tastes so much better!

Oh Jami love the old wood items you found! The Ice Cream Bucket… my parents use to make Ice Cream. I was always HORRIFIED when we would walk across the big field to the creek to get ice in the winter time ! My Dad would put me on his shoulders as he stepped in the creek to break the ice on top. If it was today, probably Social Services would take me away from my parents for that ,…LOL!!! The water was probably 4 inches deep, but to a little kid, it was 10 feet deep! LOL!!!

The metal mesh piece looks like a chimney cover. (To keep birds out). My dad made one just like that for our fireplace chimney.
My father made ice cream with rich Jersey cream and peaches, I still dream about that ice Crean, It's very different from what we call ice cream today .
You guys should design a wet distressing mitt... One side smooth and other side with slight abrasion... Great haul
