This tutorial shows how to cut, test, and paint stencils for fabric and clothing. I have made over 1000 stencils using Cricut Maker 3, Xacto Knife, and a hot knife.
To make the outfits in this video, I stenciled onto fabrics such as silk, cotton, and linen.

Too funny. I loved this, but I really really really was hoping you could tell us what sort of paints you use on the fabrics. Any chance of doing a video and giving us some idea. Im new to this, I only just found you, and it had me intrigued. Loved the bloopers and the fact that you kept them in x
The brand of paint I use for fabrics is “Golden” it is acrylic pain. I also love their Metallic Acrylics. So just google “Golden Acrylics” and you’ll find em! Thanks so much for the kind words. Glad you enjoyed more videos about stenciling clothes soon!

Best use a flat and sturdy brush or dry sponge, do multiple layers, fixate the stencil with masking tape, use screenprinting colour in thin layers and iron well before washing

Beautiful way to upcyle❤ I am working on a pair of upcyled denim pants. I am adding another medium to my acrylic paint so as I can wash them. I wash on a gentle cycle, hang to dry. Once the garment is dry, I throw it in the dryer on a low setting to soften them.
