Spooky Season: Coffin Wallet

Let's get spooky, friends!
Amendments:
- Took .25" off the bottom of all pieces
- Removed snap tab and added spring snap
- Created coffin topstitch on the exterior for visual interest
Tex 45 Celestia rainbow thread from Siah Swah, 4mm stitch length, size 18 needle, made on my Juki TL2010q.
I used "blue" cork from Fabric Funhouse, use code SEWGNAR10 for 10% off your first order!
I used a #3 zipper, cambric fabric as my card slot backings, double stick tape from Wawak, and Beacon Fabri-Tac glue.

Hi Nicole, after watching many of your videos (some multiple times ☺, like therapy) I am finally attempting my first cork project. I am however struggling to find / decide on which tread to use. Thinking of Tex 45 as I am also working on a very basic domestic machine. Would you recommend the bonded polyester or nylon? I was thinking to use nylon but I am in Ireland and can't find many suppliers in Europe with the colour I need without buying large spools, but will do so if you think nylon is the preferred option. FYI the item I will be making is a cross body sling for a cellphone with a small wallet attachment. Would really appreciate if you have some advise.

Hi! The threads I use are nylon but I don’t know how much of a difference it’ll really make because both poly and nylon are strong filaments! I’d use what you can get around you before making a big investment!
