Great video. The Sennelier oil pastels are typically super soft and creamy. I highly recommend that you add the Gallery by Mungyo oil pastels to your collection. You won’t regret it. The Gallery and Sennelier compliment each other well. Plus, you’d have more basic colors.
I might go to a Blick store to test their sennelier pastels. These are creamy but they don’t smudge very far which I see Maia do with hers on her channel. If you smudge yours do they go far?
Very Nice Christmas Haul! Thank You for Sharing! I'm curious how You like the Color Combo Book, I am thinking about purchasing it. Those 2 boxes of color Cards are out of my budget.😊💜
Me too, I can’t justify spending that much on cards no matter how lovely they look. So far I like the book. I like it because it has more than 5 colors. I don’t like that it doesn’t have a holiday section (like Xmas). I wish they included holidays
Diane , Jackson’s art sells open stock for chomroflows. And the two books your friend bought u Harry Potter and the winter wonderland are from five below …they have great books and sometimes u can get a 20 buck book for 5
I really need to look at the books at 5 Below because these have better paper than books from Amazon and they are really nice books. Thanks for the info on Jackson’s because I need to add more reds!
I like the book because it has so many color combos and each more than the typical 5 colors. Also the price is good. The con is that it doesn’t have a holiday section, especially no Christmas section since I started using it in December but I would have liked several holidays included but there aren’t any holidays that I’ve found yet. I also like using Pinterest for color combos but having an actual book is really nice too. I hope this helped.
I would love flip throughs of both the art maker and pop Harry Potter book. Curious who the publisher is for the pop one because funko pop is a toy collectibles company.
The Paul Rubens oil pastels and their derivatives (e.g. Haiya, Lightwish, etc.) are “oily” in a way that is not typical of good oil pastels. They are not pleasant to use in my experience. Streaky and strange when you smudge them.
Maia has a video showing her struggling with them. In a video called "Coloring with Oil Pastels: Paul Rubens SeaScape 🌊 set/ Adult Coloring" (3 weeks ago) at 15:26 she talks about the difficulty blending Paul Rubens compared to Mungyo. In another video called "Coloring With: Lightwish Kuelox Oil Pastels - Review and Demo / Adult Coloring" (4 months ago) at about 5:55 and 9:45 and 12:50 she really talks about and shows some issue with the Lightwish ones. I love Maia!
Sennelier makes awesome products. I have never been disappointed by them. Really enjoyed seeing all your lovely gifts.

@Dianedreamsincolor Thank You for Sharing with Me, I always use red green and gold for Christmas, so that's ok with Me!💜💜
Love the Hatchet heroes book. Where is this available at?
my friend said she bought them at Five Below. the paper is nicer than the Amazon paper and each book was just $5
I’ve seen the Winter Wonderland book at Five Below, if anyone is wondering. 😊
I asked my friend and she said.both that and the Harry Potter book came from Five Below. They have pretty nice paper especially for that price!

Please let me know how u like and how much u use the color palette book u got. I have been thinking of getting it. Color cubes are way too $$$$.

If you are in the US, they were purchased at Five Below. I will do a flip next week. cute books for $5!
There is a 180 colors total of the Kuretake Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens.
I am loving the 90 set so maybe next Christmas I will ask for the full set. Thanks for the suggestion!
Your Senneliers look good to me. You don't really want them super oily.
Oil pastels are going to be oilier than the non oil pastels and oil pastels will never completely dry meaning it will be moist for a long time.
Should they move a lot if you smudge them on paper?

@@Dianedreamsincolor My Senneliers blend out, but I would not say they move a lot. I use a qtip dipped in gamsol, but you can also use a tortillon.
