First of all congratulations for nursing school. I’m so excited for you and yay for you making some extra money. So I have started using E6000 glue with the UV resin to put the backs onto the badge. I feel like it works well.
I think you should wear some kind protection such as gloves 🧤 🧤when working with the UV light. I saw an article where the light ages your hand; similar to sun damage.
So the badger themselves I get from different places generally bulk is best from Amazon. Now the pieces that I like to put on them, I get them from AliExpress and what you are going to look for is flat back planar resin. You can find so many different things, so many different pictures say all kinds of stuff super fun and they are very inexpensive. I hope this helps. I hope you have a beautiful day friend and thank you so much for watching. I appreciate you.
I know it's been a while since you posted this video but I am hoping that you are still available to answer questions? I have been searching and searching for the flatbacks that you used to make these and cannot find them anywhere. Can you please tell me where you got them???
Sorry I make so many it’s sometimes easy to forget to say certain things. But I have used photo paper and put it on with mod Potch that works well, I have tried card stock and even after really sealing it very well. I still got some oily spots, so that’s no good. But the easiest is a printable sticker paper, and depending on what year trying to accomplish with the look, you can use white or you can use clear. And of course you can simply use vinyl and cut your pictures out with like a Cricut. I’ve been a little tied up recently with no extra time. But I’m going to start back to making more and I’ll do them different ways again and show them. I hope this helps. And happy new year friend.
Please know the correct answer is that I should tell you to wear a mask. I will say I always wear a mask when I use epoxy but I do not ever wear a mask with never have no issue.
@themostcraftynurse3914 thank you so much for responding. I really appreciate it. I understand now there's a big difference in the resins. Thank you again!!!
@@kymlewis4095 you can do that, but that's not what these are. Planar resin flatbacks are something totally different. Used on things like these, or people use them on hair bows..
I just got my flatbacks and im about to make some badge reels! So excited thank you I'm a nursing student and I'm looking to make some extra money 😊
Where did you get yours
I would love the link also ❤
What r the flat backs?
What size did you get and from where If I may ask?

But are those stickers? If so, where do you put them before you add it to the reels? I love them they are so pretty and give me some ideas.
They look like stickers to me
Are you using stickers, vinyl w/ sticker back that's printed on, waterside 😂? I have all supplies, but this part is confusing me 😢
Same here, Did you ever find out ?
Love it and yes these have been great sellers for me in the past. ❤
What UV light do you use? I found the resin. I work at a hospital and thought this would be nice to make as gifts.
Could you add a link for where you found the toppers

The resin is also very bad for your skin.
What are the badge icons called tho? Sorry if you said it in the video I can’t find it
These are awesome!! Thank you for sharing 😊
Your badge reels always look so pretty. You do a good job. Tfs.😊
Thank you friend, I’m so excited for you! I have started using E6000 to secure to the real with the UV resin. I feel like it works well.
Thank you friend

Thank you for this!!! I didn’t know it was that easy!
What r those disks called that u r putting the resin on? TIA
Blank badge reels that she says she gets from the dollar tree but I get them from Temu in bulk
I feel like a first step is missing, or maybe everyone else knows, but what type of paper did you print the designs on?

@@themostcraftynurse3914 thanks for replying, this helps!
Can you tell me what are the circle dimensions of the badge reel
@brownbeautiii4141 for the actual reel or the epoxy round or the acrylic round?
Where do you buy the supplies?
what are you using to attach them to the reel?
It appears she's using UV resin as she puts them in the curing light
Is that photo paper?
Came out great!
Is this the kind of mask I have to wear a mask with??? I really want to make these but don't want to have to wear a mask

Geez, apparently I can’t speak. I personally do not ever wear a mask with UV resin. I’ve never had any problems and I’ve never noticed any smell.

Hey girl! Are you saying "PLANNER STICKERS?"
No.. she doesn't pronounce it right, and doesn't have it in the description correctly.. it's "planars resin flatbacks" .. hope that helps better.
@@alohamama01 thank you! i was confused on that!
@@alohamama01- So these are just stickers with glitter resin and then she uses resin to attach to badge reels?
@@kymlewis4095 you can do that, but that's not what these are. Planar resin flatbacks are something totally different. Used on things like these, or people use them on hair bows..
What size resin flatbacks are you using 12mm
What all do you need
Those look like white shrinky dink paper. If they are it’s best to coat both sides in resin because they get brittle over time.
What the name of them on alliexpress
Flat back planar resins
Can you tell me the glitter color you’re using and from where?
Link to the Dunkin one?
Cute but music was too loud and too much
She meant PLANAR resin
