Hitman is a third-person stealth video game in which players take control of Agent 47, a genetically enhanced, superhuman assassin, travelling to international locations and eliminating contracted targets. As in other games in the Hitman series, players are given a large amount of room for creativity in approaching their assassinations.For instance, players may utilize long-ranged rifles to snipe a target from a long distance, or they may decide to assassinate the target at close range by using blade weapons or garrote wire. Players can also use explosives, or disguise the assassination by creating a seemingly accidental death. A common method to approach a mission is to incapacitate other characters and wear their outfits as a disguise, which allows the player to gain access to restricted areas more easily. Actions of the non-playable characters influence the game. For instance, players can gain more information about the position of their target through listening to a nearby news reporter.
The level design of the game features a structure similar to that of Hitman: Blood Money, as opposed to the linear structure of Hitman: Absolution. Every level in the game is a sandbox which can be explored by players, featuring numerous ways to eliminate targets from accidents to scripted "opportunities" which require multiple stages to complete. Levels are larger in Hitman, in which the maps in the game are "six to seven times larger than the biggest levels in Absolution". Levels accommodate about 300 non-playable characters (NPCs), with each having different routines and reacting differently to players' actions. Players can save their game anytime during missions. Instinct mode, which was introduced in Absolution, returns in a simplified form, no longer being an expendable resource. A player's after-mission performance review is rated on a 5-star rating system influenced by factors such as time taken, number of non-targets killed, whether the player was spotted, whether or not they have been recorded on camera or if bodies were found. Completing challenges in a mission will award players with Mastery Points. Gaining enough mastery points will cause the player to earn a level of Mastery Level, with a total of 20 levels. As the player progresses through the 20 mastery levels, each level will earn players new items including new gadgets such as weapons, different types of poison and explosives, new agency pickup locations, and/or new starting locations.

timyac That's the one part I did not like about the game. There was no way to figure out many of the redacted challenges unless you looked them up.

The challange screenshot is a huge giveaway and the bells producing ear raping sounds even a bigger giveaway. "Shoot peculiar things and something awesome will happen." is really common easter egg btw, so it will be easy for easter egg hunters to find one.

so, in the would of Hitman, assassins creed is a game that exists. In the world of assassins creed, Abstergo had some employees in the world of watch dogs. And finally, in the world of watch dogs, you can find Bruce Wayne, meaning that Batman is a fictional character in the world of hitman...it's all connected xD it can go on forever it seems, since the bells and kracken exist in hitman, Johnny Depp doesn't exist, just Jack Sparrow. Which means all the movies who have such actors like Will Turner, played by Orlando bloom, couldn't have played Legolas...so Lord of the Rings didn't get made. Meaning that the Lego lord of the rings game wouldn't have been made. All leading to that Easter egg where the guard tells Frodo, "...until i took an arrow to the knee" ongoing meme. Meaning Skyrim doesn't exist. Meaning that the Easter egg of Luke Skywalker hanging in a cave, has no point because Star Wars doesn't exist. So, Qui Gon Jin doesn't exist, meaning Liam Neesan didn't get his start on acting. Which means, No one trained Batman, because Rhaz Al Gul was never there. Which means, Batman doesn't exist because he wasn't trained, resulting in Gotham being destroyed, leaving Bruce Wayne dead, and no Easter egg in Watch dogs, which is in the universe of assassin's creed, which is a game in Hitman. But hey, That's just a theory, A GAME THEORY!!!!

How is the David Bateson Easter Egg not on here? Probably the best Easter egg the game has. When you go to the mission The Icon you will encounter two guys in the beginning who are looking at a movie poster and say something like "They decided to bring David Bateson back for this one huh? The other guy would reply you imagine the fan uproar if they didn't bring him back for the role." This is a clear reference to how Edios and Square wanted to recast Agent 47 in Absolution with a much more know actor (like Kiefer Sutherland taking over Big Boss way) and the fan support to keep Bateson as 47 was so huge they brought him back. These developers don't realize that voice actors are a make it or break it dead for these games no one cares about a high profile actor playing a voice role we care about who is best suited for the role. They should have learned their lesson when they wanted to cast Vin Diesel in the live action movie and then for future video games he would be the likeness and voice for 47 which fan reaction was so bad it caused Vin Diesel to back out from the role due to all the hate he was getting for it. But yeah that Easter egg was a huge nod to that.

Haven't watched the full video yet but I'm guessing the Kane and lynch egg is in this list?? I was playing Colorado last night and noticed lynch on the tv and was like whaaaaaatt!!! Haha. I love that game! And was so shocked and happy at the same time to see that.
A few other good ones is when you throw a pool ball into the basketball hoop in Marrakesh. You complete the Slam Dunk challenge and everyone cheers for you. Another one is when you shoot 4 bells in the distance on Colorado in the water tower, dressed as the scarecrow. After doing that, everyone who gets near you burns.
