only the emblem with the Hi Res symbol and headphone jack is plastic all the rest is Metal/Alu I bought the FC 3 now in red ,looks so awesome the FC1 I will buy in red too. Then I have 1 FC1 3 FC3 and 1 FC4. I can’t really hear a difference between FC 3 and FC4 both are awesome . I use them with iPad Pro 12,9 M2 and Philips Fidelio X3❤️ and in some days with the Meze 109 Pro
Would it be worth it for plugging a phone into having it run to a car EQ that runs to my amps? Not wanting to pay hundred but it looks like I might have to.
I just thinking if i buy 7Hz Zero. What's your opinion i wanna get some USB DAC: HiBy FC1 (if this cheap work propper), HiBy FC3 or FiiO KA1? (music on cheap smartphone)
Is the hardware volume control on the dac independence of the source? Like if I control the volume using dac buttons will it change the system volume of the windows/android device?
I don't know of many neutral earphones but I heard the Final E500 is supposed to be quite neutral. I would not say the FC1 is better than the Meizu but different.
The FC3 getting extremely loud and I think FC 1 get the same loudness because both have 70mW I have 2 FC3 (1 is the old FC3 with the Round LED indicator)and 1 FC4 and now I bought a another FC3 and a FC1 because they are in Red Color and it looks so nice.
Are any of these dongle DACs below $80 worth buying if we are using sensitive and easy to drive IEMs like KZs, CCAs etc especially to get better and cleaner sound than Smartphone's inbuilt DAC?
@@VortexReviews1 u have a iPhone with the Apple dingle u will not hear a difference because Apple have the best audio hardware but if u have not a iPhone I highly recommend the Hiby FC1 or FC3. If u have Apple Music and over ear headphones it’s a perfect solution because u can hear the Apple Music in best possible quality,Lossless ,HI Res Lossless and Dolby Atmos.
@@skyhero1888 Android only for me and I have since sold this FC1 as I did not use it unfortunately. I use either the Truthear Shio or Jcally AP90 these days.
This is an unboxing, not really a review.
Thank you

You got some nice gear 👍
Can you hear any difference between FC1 vs FC3?
@@victordanieldiaz1286 No, for me it’s 100% the same.
You didn't notice more volume on the fc3?@@skyhero1888
Not the best SQ. Very low power but OK with low impedance IEM's. Good price/quality ratio.
I agree.

Which headphones are the best under 25 dollars? I watched some reviews and openheart Resin look good, are there any better options?
There are a few good options like the KBear KS1, Tin T1 Plus, Blon 01, Blon 03, Openheart is good but a bit too bassy.
@@VortexReviews1 thx
@@_Juras No problem.

The FC1 is decent and has been updated since I did this video. There are also options from Tempotec but not tried them apart from the HD II
@@VortexReviews1 Do you think tempotec is more decent and capable ?
@@magarincho They are capable especially the E44 variant. Many good adapters these days. Just depends on budget.
How it for fps games?
Seems fine for that.

It's independent.
@@VortexReviews1 so what do you recommend when using in a PC? max out in the dac and controlling the volume in windows?
@@hugoigni I prefer to max it in Windows then control the volume on the dongle or amp.
@@VortexReviews1 thanks!
@@hugoignacio6176 No problem at all.
how much different from fc3. Fc3 2x more expensive than this. Or this is still good enough?
Never tried the FC3 but on paper it doesn't look like it's worth it.
Friend, do you know of an in-ear phone that has a more neutral response? And this FC1 is better than the Meizu HiFi DAC?
I don't know of many neutral earphones but I heard the Final E500 is supposed to be quite neutral. I would not say the FC1 is better than the Meizu but different.
This has got the same specs as Whizzer DA1, but without detachable cable. Has anyone experienced the DA1?
I have not tried the DA1.
This one or fc3 ? Not interested in mqa
Not tried the FC3 but the only difference from what I see is MQA support as they both have the same power output.
Hey does the dac get really loud With the 30 step volume control ?
I find it does but it depends on what you are powering?
The FC3 getting extremely loud and I think FC 1 get the same loudness because both have 70mW

does it improve the sound and clarity of a laptop?
It will if the onboard laptop audio is not that great.
Any idea if this can be used in a tv???
No longer own this to test that.

They typically have a cleaner output than a phone headphone jack.
Xtrempro usb amp is the best one I've seen so far

@@VortexReviews1 these two dac/amps has no ESS chip.
How is the sound compared to that Sonata?
I don't have the Sonata with me for direct comparison but I would not say it is not better or worse from memory.
FC 3 is much better because it have a ES chip ( ES 9281 Pro ) and the FC3 have 10mW more power
For smartphone or not?
For smartphones as well.
