"Cuando Silba El Viento" by La Segunda on 'Sera Una Noche' BAYZ Counterpoint 2.0 speakers, with Pilium pre- and power amps, dCS Rossini DAC, and Taiko Extreme server.
In general speaker state of the art is behind that of amplification across the board. The Bayz get us closer to matching the better amps. Still lagging is the 'software' recording chain and room interaction. No matter how good amps and speakers get, recordings and room interaction lag far behind.
Room interaction was very carefully considered here for the showroom @ Rhapsody Out West, the acoustics optimized by Bonnie Schnitta Ph.D. Of SoundSense LLC in New York. I’ll post another video in the future what all was done.
Besides the amazing, unique design? Besides the fact they are omni-directional? Besides the nearly flat response out way beyond 20khz, the deep bass down to low 20 hz, the spectacular dynamics and resolution? Besides the completely new pulsating membrane of the Bayz Radial Speaker? Besides those things - I guess its just another speaker!
@@jeffriver9715 Pilium is amazing on the three speakers I have in-house, Bayz Counterpoint 2.0, Alsyvox Botticelli X, and Diesis Roma. Three different speaker topologies and the Pilium sounds great on them all. But to deny how special the Bayz speakers are and attribute the sound to the amplification is silly - I have also heard the Bayz with tube integrated they are still amazing. Don’t be fooled by the design, the Bayz Radial Speaker “BRS” should not be underestimated in my opinion.
@@Rhapsody-Out-West sorry, Im not hating... It's just, I have tried many speakers with a pair of hercules-alexander-elektra set and they all sound good and some excellent and I even reviewed some speakers you can buy on bestbuy and they sounded great! Yeah my reference is a Göbel Marquis but it was disappointing to see that Pilium made a lot of other cheaper speakers shine, some of them sounded fucking realistic (monitor, Polk... just... Are u kidding?) that's why I'm no longer impressed by exotic designs or extravagant... Excuse me, my two cents. Cheers!
wonderful..I hope someday i can having this hifi system like you sir 🙏.. ♥️✨✨
