Really appreciate those videos, made my decision between these two (aside from their general specs) quite a bit easier. Wondering if you would ever redo this test with some of your phones, but using a GCam Port if available vs the Pixel 9 (BigKaka's GCam Port like AGC9.2.14_V13.0 for the S24U for example). Since GCam was "the thing" back in the days (like Poco F1 Days lol), that everybody tried to get on their phone instead of the Stock one.
That picture mode on people on the Pixel 9 pro is literally fucking trash like not even work it being called a flagship and the lens transition don't get me started on that either
It's possible to use the 5X tele for macro with the S24U in good light and you can force the telezoom on both (on the pro mode settings in the Pixel). Thanks for the comparison 👍
Can you bring OnePlus 12 also again in this compitition...❤ It has been doing some great things in its camera's and in video department.. Love to see your long details camera review bro 😉😉❤
The hi res mode kindly test it on broad daylight and wide landscape or maybe a huge group photo in sufficient lighting Indoor lighting with such a narrow focus point could not help
Recently, i use my friend 24 ultra for a few days. When shooting human subjects and portrait it looks good. For zoom you need a gimble if u zoom beyond 10x. What i dislike is when u shoot plant, tree or flower it booast the color so much as shown in this review. this is major letdown for me my OnePlus have the same issue. For those who are not into photography they may prefer it but for me that is big no for me.
Bro I know Raw comparison cannot be done But can you try once like processed Raw and auto processed jpgs, especially with human subjects and skin tones
Well raw would end up with a photograph that looks exactly how I would want it which is kinda whacky for most people if I'm being honest😂... but u can pretty much make the shot look however u want and adjust skin tones to high heaven n back on basically all available flagships
@@thetechphenomenathanks for the response. You are doing an incredible job that no other reviewer seems to go. my general preference is closer to reality since actual reality is nearly impossible to replicate. And in that regard, I have not been too happy with any recent flagships. They make red as orange. Do not capture different shades of white, never gets the furniture colour correct. Almost always I am forced to take in raw and edit in Lightroom looking at the actual colours and trying to match. Which phone do you recommend for best colour accuracy with the auto processing?
Oneplus is no match really for the pixel XL. I used to be a strong user of the OnePlus phones. The last one I left off on was the 8 pro and I switched over to the pixel since the 7 pro pixel and never look back.
Samsung is about $100 more, also I'm sorry do you know what the purpose of raw images is? Raw it bring in as much detail as possible unprocessed for you to edit in post. Raw images isn't there to post as raw image 🤦♂️ This is a tell me you don't know photography without telling me you don't know anything about photography situation.
@@bramjo5064 aside from benchmark numbers there is no real performance difference in day to day use unless you are doing graphic intense gaming then I agree Samsung would be the way to go. They non reflective display is prob the only better feature however, the pixel display is brighter and more vibrant than the Samsung so to me they are same depends on which one you want more. Most people don't use / need a stylus so it's more of a gymic feature and case by case on your own personal preference. I'm just glad between Samsung iPhone and Google there are some awesome unique features between all 3 and the option of phone choice now that Google has stepped up their hardware and build quality is amazing !
He is doing in full auto albeit he has highlighted photos could be processed differently in Raw. You can't do a comparison with Raw. But yes he could have mentioned that everytime he brings up Raw, it appears as if he doesn't know about it Having said that my Raw experience. Expert Raw on Samsung is already pre processed and does not actually give so much of the 'raw' to work with Not sure about Vivo I have the 14 ultra. The Raw on that is also somewhat pre processed and not an organic raw Before that I had the edge 30 ultra. That one has the best Raw image. The pure raw output of the camera hardware, untouched. Hence the photos at 1x and 2x which I compare now with my 1Lakh phone as opposed to that 50K phone. In broad daylight, my edge 30 seems to pull in more details and is more organic and less processed. It's a bit disappointing that Xiaomi pre applies some processing before presenting the Raw Maybe I should have got the x100 pro?
Bro the pixel phones are definitely over priced, 9 series should be launched at 40% lesser price. The performance is so bad that the phone heats up while streaming videos, I can't imagine what will happen when we play games. Portrait mode is as good as a 15-20k phone, poor edge detection, poor detail retention in portraits and artificial fringing as well. Zoom is pathetic for a price tag of a 1.2L phone. Only looks can't save this phone. Wait for a few months you will see a massive price cut.
@@rohitmaurya5284 who said the phone heats up while streaming videos ? If anything all the reviews have been saying how good it is at heat management now. You should look up the heavy workload test. The pixel is the one that performs the best the s24 ultra over heats and fails so the pixel is actually way better surprisingly.

Amazing comparison brother!
you have all major camera phones, can you add moto edge 50 ultra in your list. And compare with xiaomi 14 and OnePlus 12.?
Great! Love both

That crappy tensor G4 can't keep the lens transition😂😂😂

I don't know about the rest but for selfies i rather a close up than a stretch out wider picture

Why during this whole video, I had the impression that the sensors of the S24 Ultra were not clean 🤔

Some phones like xiaomi 14 ultra specialize in RAW photography but that's only applicable in rare situations

Pixel 9 pro XL against the OnePlus 12 please. Plus OnePlus 12 hasn't gone up against the IPhone 15 Pro max. Please try to do both.
need pixel against OP12
I am viewing this on a s23 ultra( more than enough)
I emailed Google last year about the lens transition and they still haven't fixed it in fact they made it worse
make a review vivo x100 pro vs pixel 9
Please compare pixel 9 pro with vivo x100 pro .

$100 more for 2x better performance, better display with non reflective coating and stylus experience is enough for me...
