It's one of my most carried EDC fixies and my favorite Giant Mouse. So much goodness. I did have to add a lanyard for my pinky. I'm thinking about getting another GMF1 later on.
Don’t think it has yet but good question. Can’t remember if I mentioned in that vid or not, but I put that bead on there. Frustratingly enough I’m having trouble finding this knife right now lol 🤦🏻♂️
It's not bad for quick use. All the edges are crowned. I wouldn't use it for prolonged work though. There are third party scales that custom makers have for these if you're ever interested. But I like it stock personally.
It's been a while so I don't remember what I said hah; but I think I talked about it being a thick piece of steel - so that kind of helps it feel pretty good. My pinky hangs off since its a smaller knife. If you like knives with no scales and are cool with small knives I'd imagine you'd dig it. The jimping also helps you maintain a good grip. If you're on the fence I'd try it out somewhere if you can - and also remember the regular version of this is thinner bladestock which could be a factor.
@@BUCKSGEARBOX yeah but they coulda worked the leather a bit. Maybe a broke in look. A darker finish? Beautiful little knife though! Everyone's got different taste.
looks tiny. what would you use it on?
Definitely an EDC knife! Carry and use it a lot just for everyday random stuff (opening boxes, cutting tape, etc)
Love my Bradford G-necker in Elmax though I’m jealous of that sheath!
Bradford has some cool stuff! Will check that one out :)
Beautiful knife. Thanks for the review.
Thank you! Thanks for watching!
Cool ! Love that sheath. Perfect for pocket carry. Kydex can get annoying & unevenly ruin the finish
The sheath is excellent!
If I am not mistaken, this knife is made in Italy. It’s a lion steel.
Definitely Italian! Not sure about any parent company or anything. Giant Mouse is one of my favorite knife maker/designer companies!
Still loving the blade? I'm gonna grab one soon

@@BUCKSGEARBOX right now my favorite edc fixed is a White River Backpacker Pro. Really been eyeballing that GMF-1 though
Gonna go look that up now :)
@@BUCKSGEARBOX yeah the Backpacker Pro is awesome. Extremely ergonomic. Great blade steel and handle options
Is the titanium bead hard enough to scratch the handle if it rubs onto it in the pocket?

@@BUCKSGEARBOX oh no. I hope you find it, it’s terrible when things go missing.
Weird question maybe, but what color paracord is that on your PM3? Looks 👍!
Yeah it’s really cool! I got it from REC here’s a link: riversedgecutlery.com/products/atwood-550-pc-chameleon-100.html
@@BUCKSGEARBOX Thanks for the info! I might have to place an order and check out it irl. Could be a fun match for my gray Elementum!
No prob! Nice eye for the details by the way!
Just curious how’s the comfy level when u holding that knife since it has no handle

Does anyone know where to get custom scales for it other than the Oak City ones?
I’d love to hear about this too!
Btw I’m on a week long backpacking trip y’all may be really hard to check into UA-cam 😂
Hi! Check TRC Knives Speed Demon!
Will do thanks for the tip!
But are you still excited?
No. I can’t find this one currently. Not excited about that 😉
You rave about the knife and how good it is, but you never once spoke about how it feels in hand.

Terrible sheath for such a pretty knife
Huh, I REALLY like it haha. It fits in my pocket (even though it is a bit bulky). And the fit and finish are top-notch in my book

Ahh I hear you! Yeah the sheath does have a very new look. It's pretty robust so I'm not gonna be afraid to break it in over time though!
