5:32 a 30 round mag will go in and out under the rest no problem, no tilting, with the grip resting on the shelf. I have had my AR Caldwell for a year. I don’t shoot with out it! Absolutely love it. Ar10 and ar15
ohh sure, buddy Carl turned me on to it! haha, sometimes I cant the jaws when i clamp it to get some extra height on the front of the gun, just depends on the range and how your chair sits. its a 10/10 solution!@@ChrisFromThe740
I have the stinger rest but its big and like you said hard to get a good shooting position with certain rifles, but i been wanting to get the other one to see if better and looks smaller for sure.
Excellent presentation showing how to use it & what issues might popup & how to deal with them. Im wondering how you got probably at the least 4hrs of filming & working with it into. 16.5mn video? Alot of good info to help with a super nice rest!! Thanks for your time. 🙏👊👍🇺🇸
@@ChrisFromThe740I love the adjustability of it. Don't want to jump the gun but wondering how well it works with various handguns. Never to old to learn even at 68. 😂
@@ChrisFromThe740 Good point. I was hoping it held onto the gun so I could get back on target quickly but the gun slipped and the rest's head pitched back some. My hope was the entire rest was the only thing that moved.
Unfortunately no but this thing is so compact it doesn't bother me. I actually leave this on the floorboard of my truck in front of the passenger seat and I don't even notice it's there.
You did not miss that part Nathan because I actually don't have any traditional rifles to test on it. You should be fine though by adjusting the back platform all the way up and lowering the front leg.
@@ChrisFromThe740 okay gotcha. I was just trying to envision whether or not the rear rest portion would be able to engage the grip portion of a wood stock. Since some of them don't have much of a "pistol grip" like the magpul. But worst case scenario, I guess you could still throw a rear bag on that support. Looks like a handy little rest. I've been dragging around a Caldwell bench rest and rear bags. But it's too many pieces to keep track of, and heavy. So I've been looking for something more portable and user friendly. I think this would do what I need 90% of the time. Good review, thank you.

That is good to know about the magazine I really appreciate you turning me on to this rest I am extremely happy with it.

I really like how compact this is, it's a little on the heavy side but it doesn't take up much room in my truck and it's very well built
This rest looks awesome. I don’t have a rest and looking at my groups I should consider getting one.
LoL Casey I hear ya I need all the help I can get.
Very nice! I like how it's so compact compared to the big sleds.
That is my favorite part too Weston and it doesn't take up much room in my truck
I have the Stinger too.
I like the Stinger with certain guns it works really well with my PCC when adjusting my red dots

You're very welcome Bill I will have the range video up tomorrow night.

The deathgrip had a hard time holding onto the stock chassis of my 22-250. And those don't have much recoil. But the mount is a solid beast.
What does that have to do with this rest

Just ordered one. Nice video and good editing.
Thank you I appreciate it, you should really like it I was just using it yesterday
That might be in my future. Great review as always brother!
Thank you Brother, after having this to the range a couple times now I think everyone should have one of these.
This thing gave me the most accurate zero I’ve ever had. It will also zero your lasers and your dot optics to be spot on.
👍👍
That is a nice rest brother and great video
Thank you Brother I really appreciate it
Excellent! Thank you!
You're welcome
That is pretty sweeet
Thank you I appreciate it
Great review thanks. One question; is it possible to fold away the adjustable grip rest for transportation?
Unfortunately no but this thing is so compact it doesn't bother me. I actually leave this on the floorboard of my truck in front of the passenger seat and I don't even notice it's there.
Great review. 👍
Thank you Brother
Very nice
Thank you Don
Good evening
Good evening RTAC
Will it work with conventional wood stock hunting rifles?
Or did I just miss that part?
