    I tend to watch in bits and pieces so I don't miss anything. Just great.

    These interviews are fascinating, Lisa, but I particularly enjoyed this one with Deborah! I've heard her speak and have taken a class with her in the past. I would recommend her to anyone. I love her work and she is SEW delightful!!

    Deborah, I am enjoying your book so much. Can we have another one please, on stitched and painted landscapes? That would be wonderful!

    So enjoy following her process. Lots of good ideas--writing "illegibly" as a design element, the use of freezer paper to make a hand stitching guide, the foam stamp to mark with dilute paint!

    Thank you so much for sharing, Deborah and Lisa! I learned some new hints for this technique and hope to be able to incorporate them as I learn and grow in my own art quilt collaging. Also want to say I was amused by calling your friend's fabric collection a "healthy stash"....that takes the guilt out of it!!!

    How do you cut out such intricate shapes. After it is fused?

    • @LisaWaltonArtist
      @LisaWaltonArtist  3 роки тому

      very sharp scissors i assume

    • @DeborahBoschert

      @@LisaWaltonArtist and patience!

    • @DeborahBoschert
      @DeborahBoschert 3 роки тому

      Yes, I cut everything after the fusible has already been applied to the back of the fabric using sharp scissors and just taking my time.
