Very nice setup, congratulations. Would love to have a warehouse co-work down here in my area. Is that Phototex vinyl in the astronaut sticker in 13:36? Looking forward to new content.
Nice, love your new shop space. GFP 64- inch with heat assist and power take-up about $7k installed. Ebay has bunch listings for power take-up that bolts onto the laminator frame. Has slip clutch, speed control knob and separate 110v plug. I started to add one to my machine but opted for new machine for a couple other reasons.
That's a dope little set-up you got. Those co-hap spaces are pretty clean. I hear you about working from home. Sometimes it's hard to get the motivation when you''re at home, better to force yourself to go to work. Looking forward to more content in the future. Good luck, brother.
congrats on the new spot! how is the Mimaki UV? Would love to hear your feedback - im looking for feedback regarding layering (3-4 layers or pull backs to do clear / white) also ink consumption etc! thanks!
@@allanj2699 hey! It’s a good machine. I’m going to sell it though. Not enough productivity for my niche I’m focusing on. I use the Epson s80600 now and it has white ink as well. The ink consumption seems good on the UCJV.
Great vid mate. I’ve just moved from my house to a double long garage in the garden i’ve refurbished, loving it! I would go the hot laminator route if i was you as white solvent ink is a nightmare. I have a VS540 which is supposed to run white but it has never worked for more than one evening. It’s a completely different pigment to colour and clogs everything it touches. UV is the only white route. Also if you go with a new laminator it won’t require ink or maintenance. Let the force be with you…

As I said in the video, people are use to lamination. It’s not about ability or anything. It’s about product quality. And if someone has been ordering from the other main sticker companies, and they’re use to lamination, they’ll be thrown off by non laminated products. And lamination is still better than none. With anything.
@@stickershuttle you should. I have a printer with eco solvent white. I replaced the white with cleaning solvent. Unless you are having white prints on daily basis, eco solvent white is nothing but problems
Congrats! I’ve been watching since the basement days. Looking forward to seeing the journey.
Awesome! Thank you!

Could you add a take up reel to the back of the laminator so it rerolls on its own?

Hahahah I think laminator it is. Although, I did just add clear gloss ink on top of a set of sticker prints and it looks amaaaaaazing!
@@stickershuttle Ah mate i need a UV sooo bad!
Hey man! New shop looks great. What media do you use on your cold roll laminator and where do you buy it? im struggling to find a good one

Need a video on how you’re laminating.
Soon!!!
Congrats man
Thank you!
you're the inspiration to us in brazil...these mimakis are so expensive here...how much u pay for?
Wow! Am interested in that graphtec plotter. How much can you dispose it for?
What’s your email?
On UV printer, you don't need to laminate, that's the hole point of UV printing, it's scratch resistent without lamination.

@@stickershuttlesell the plotter and the laminator and get a laminator that will work for both printers.
That’s cool that there is a company providing a building that is setup like that. Probably keeps everything cheaper for small businesses.
@@crashdummy1000 yeah it’s super cool
Nice shop - post people I talk to don’t laminate UV printed decals. Something to think about.
I hear both sides. It's tough but I want a consistent feel/look to my stickers.

I wouldnt recommend white ink with eco solvent ink. The quality is lower comparing to the uv. Density is lower
@@user-so8eg1fc3y that’s what I’ve heard. That and printhead issues. I think I’ll stick with UV and get heat assisted laminator

I think getting a new laminator would be better than getting another printer for you
I'm learning towards that decision.

I can. Looking into it this week
