We used this method and was definitely able to power the fuel pump I will try to remember to follow and let you know if it ends up being a solid fix 🤞 this is a long term solution
Seriously though... Did it work. Looking online all of these are failing. The problem is a bad connection somewhere between fuse block and fuel pump. It may be damage caused by the seat clip design pushing on the fuse box lid and moving the relay slightly. I'm thinking once the damage is done there's nothing that can be done except rewire or replace the whole fuse block.
Exactly what it is! Seat clip pushing on the relay causing poor connection and arcing and melting relay and fuse box. Should’ve been major recall from GM Buick
I did this on my 08 Lucerne today, good as new, thanks for the drawing, it made it very easy.
Have you had any issues this new relay modifications and did you need to cut any wires or just tap into them
