To be honest I would have bought him even if it was just a rigid piece of painted plastic :D Instead I got the imperial regent just like the books: best work from JOYTOY in the Warhammer 40K line. LOL I handled him with due respect and did not try to stretch him too much for review purposes: I only found the iron halo top tip to be bent but was easy to fix with an hair dryer. Weta Workshop have just announced they will be partnering with Games Workshop to manufacture 1:6 scale 40k figures. I'm guessing these will make the Joytoy Papa Smurf look inexpensive by comparison.

I mean...in some ways, you have to give them credit, as in RL, this armor looks really clunky ^^ Also it is powered armor in-universe, so... I also like, that his head is a bit small, because the Armor is HE-UGE. It fits imo. Makes the armor look, like it is just an oversized tank, strapped to a person...which it is ^^
I give Joytoy ALL the credit. Yeah, I had some minor issues, but this is one of their best pieces. They were able to make him really poseable even with how chunky and awkward his armour is. Fun figure and feels premium too
People were also complaining that he was too big as Guilliman is an average-sized primarch at about 10.5-11 ft while he is nearly double the height of a standard space marine in figure form. The artificer armor (armor of fate) he has is supposed to make him taller due to all of the advanced life support functions.
Nice review my guy! I like the "10 things to know" angle. I was very fortunate with mine as I did not detect any QC problems and no bending from the packaging. The price is something to consider as I see him going high 130s to almost 160 depending on the vendor. I got lucky with mine, caught him on a preorder sale during Amazon Day for 110$ with free shipping, so I hopped on that deal! Appreciate the shout out too!
Gulliman is absolutely freaking cool! I wasn't bashing the figure or anything. He's got some flaws, but is a must-buy for anyone that can afford it. Calgar's also got flaws, but I bloody love that figure. Definitely pick up if you get the chance!

You must be blind, you can stop buying joytoy if you think that, there will be no better gold color lol, and they do quite good gold color on other figure like blacklegion, but gold on guilliman is better 😂😂😂
@@heobinhlovemeo i already replace the gold unlike you i don't kiss A S s i want them to make better toys so i can buy them the gold i use is called venetian gold with highlight rose gold so tell me it's ok that the dark angel heads are very very small because it's smaller than the V1 i already pre order lazarus and i'm afraid that his head is freaking small in a year they jump to v1 to v3 because of stupid mistakes (even the size is not accurate because the custodes are the real size of the primaries) research first then they should ask GW (since they told me that they ask GW for everything or changes)
I hope it does well because i think all of us would love to see more Primarchs

Yeah, I think Joytoy's scaling is more in line with the minis. Brilliant figure regardless though

According to lore, Guilliman is medium sized among primarchs whereas Vulkan was more towards the tallest, so he'd likely be even bigger!

Yeah the sword isn't the best, but I don't have s problem with anything else. The face is done well with subtle shade. Looks a lot better in person
