Old Mechina period's 2007-2012 + Arcturus and Progenie Terrestre Pura
I never heard of this band before. But I love Dsbm. Its a sub-genre of Black Metal.
You need to check out Mechina's Siege!!
This album is beautiful. Reminds me of Sybreed too, the Antares album.
Antares in one of my absoute favourite albums of all time. So ,so good! :)
Great album from a massively underrated band (/project).
And yes, Mechina is the closest to Khonsu that I found, I wished Khonsu was as productive as they are...
Something else thats really worth trying, although a bit less metal and a bit more electronic ist Machines Of Our Disgrace from Circle of Dust and/or End Of An Empire from Celldweller (which are both projects of the same guy, Klayton)
I wish you would have reacted to The Observatory, the clean vocals there were at its peak! And for harsh vocals maybe A Jhator Ascension and Visions of Nehaya, this one is short but great!
Fuck yeah, one of my top 3 bands, right alongside Mechina lol

I'll have to add there's a whole genre dedicated to space sounding metal. Usually Black Metal with super emphasis on atmospheric but they're very ambient as well (bands like Mesarthim, Midnight Odyssey, etc.). Khonsu and Mechina are pretty unique in their own regards.
That being said I'll suggest you check out the Russian cyber metal band: Conflict. Heavy Fear Factory and Conqueror-era Mechina vibes... but with awesome and brutal female vocals.

I second Mesarthim - they are awesome! Another recommendation would be Vyre's recent albums (Initial Frontier 1 & 2, Weltformel).
