Q/A: Hey guys! First off I just wanted to say thank you for all of the music over the years. There are parts in my life that your music instantly takes me back to, and I’m forever thankful for that. Also, this new single is a chef’s kiss in my eyes. My question is what’re your feelings on Bob Dylan? Do you guys enjoy his music? If so what’re your favorite songs or albums by him.
For the Q&A: once the world settles down and y’all are able to tour, Will Florida be on the list? Been a fan since charmer and have every album downloaded ❤️ like many others have said, thank you for making amazing music and having an impact on my life (I lost my virginity to distress signal) I’m exited for what the next album has to offer, keep being a really cool band 🤟🏼 much love
First heard you guys open for TWY. I absolutely adore Spin. Can’t wait for the new album and it’s amazing that another great band comes from PA. Did you work with Will Yip again on this new album
Q&A: First off congrats on signing with hopeless, I’m super excited to see why you guys do with them! My question is for Ben: I love the guitar tones on this track, what kind of equipment did you use? Im trying to get my own sound down so it’s cool hearing what amps, pedals, guitars, etc. that my favorite artists are using! Thanks!
Thank you! One side was a Nash Wayfarer thru a Marshall Jubilee. The other was a Les Paul Goldtop through the JCM800 i use live. I used a Carbon Copy delay, Fender Marine Layer Reverb, and an EQD Palisades when I needed more gain.
love itt 😍😝 it reminds me of my boyfriend i miss him soo much, he's travelling all the time cuz he's a marine, he says everytime he can see all the sea and sky but the sky is nothing compared to me 😔 great song, so many emotions
Death Cab for Cutie at Riot Fest was a big one - Ben I'd agree with that. Soundgarden in 2015 at Soundwave Festival. - Teddy A random girl came up to me and kissed me during a Warpaint show. That was pretty memorable. - Colin I also agree about DCFC. Any David Bazaan show I've been to, I've cried at (lol). Seeing Paramore cover Fleetwood mac. - Bri Another memorable one for me was playing "Spring Fling" festival with Thundercat and seeing a bunch of college kids trying to dance along to crazy time signatures - Ben That was nuts - Ted The day after Tom Petty died we played a cover of "Won't Back Down" during our set. We also hijacked a Yowler set during a tour and played "Dammit" by Blink 182, and again hijacked The Wonder Years' encore and play "Give It Away" by the Red Hot Chili Peppers. It's on youtube somewhere lol
Other question : what was the approximate plan for this new album release date before covid19 lol? New album 2021 ? Can’t wait to hear this live, loved hearing Eyes Shut on the last tour! -Aiden
A bit nervous about you guys signing to Hopeless after a less than stellar TMP album after they changed to Hopeless - keeping hopes high though, this song is great
Step 1 is get rid of the word "releasable" and just make whatever you want at the end of the day. Make sure you can stand behind it and use whatever tools you have to get outside of your comfort zone to try new things and take in different influences. If you're feeling tapped out on lyrics, do some writing exercises such as ones from the book "Writing Better Lyrics" by Pat Pattinson (seriously) - Everyone If you're writing a song and you dont like it halfway through, finish it anyway. Work on finishing things. - Teddy My advice is to collaborate with people, that's what I love about being in a band. - Bri
Spirit Desire is an "Adam" song through and through, and he wrote the lyrics so he'd have to elaborate on the meaning! My favorite thing about Knoebels is everything, but also the carousel and haunted mansion and the phoenix. - Bri
Drummers: as a young kid, Greg Bissonett, Dennis Chambers, & Bill Cairo and current day drummers ,Thomas Pridgen & Benny Greb. (Right now I'm vibing a guy named Billy Strings check him out) - Teddy Favorite musician when growing up - John Frusciante, current - John Fruciante - Colin Fav musicians growing up - Fall Out Boy, Death Cab for Cutie current - Paramore, Land of Talk - Bri Favorite musician when growing up - Tony Iommi, current - David Bazaan. - Ben
For the Q&A: I know you’ve heard this a thousand times, but lemme geek out for just a second!😝 firstly, I love you. You guys have had such a strong impact on my life over the past 14 years. No one sounds like you, no one has the same addictive quality. Tigers jaw is ingrained in my life in a way that no other band/artist is. Thank you for giving me that. Now for the question: I’ve gotta be real, Warn Me is gorgeous, but has me worried. Your most attractive songs often crescendo and feel a bit messier. Is Warn Me indicative of the New Albums sound? Can we expect more aggressive tracks? I’d love to hear any details you can give.
I (Ben) wrote the lyrics. The song is about allowing positivity into your life after experiencing a very negative relationship. That particular line is about being proactive, if you aren't actively making positive change you are complicit in the negativity that exists.
Adam wrote the lyrics to that one, so he'd have to weigh in on that! However the structure of the song was decided day of, minutes before we tracked the drums, over the phone.
Ben says: Sabbath, Petty, & Fleetwood Mac, Teddy says: Alan Jackson (Chattahoochee specifically), Colin says: Victor Wooten, Bootsy Collins, Bri says: Hellogoodbye - Shimmy Shimmy Quarter Turn and Jets to Brazil/Jawbreaker
When I was 16 I got my wisdom teeth out and was on vicodin for the pain and I passed out while eating a bowl of cereal because my blood pressure was low, face first into the bowl of cereal. - Bri I poured a huge bowl of honey bunches of oats, recycled the box, and THEN found out that we didn't have any milk in the fridge. I've had nightmares ever since. - Ted The first and only time I ever had sour patch kids cereal - Colin We requested cereal on the rider ("fun cereal" at first, and then "wacky cereal", and then "downright outlandish") and got Sour Patch Kids cereal MULTIPLE TIMES. - Ben
Q&A QUESTION: When will you release your next album? I'm a huge fan, will you follow me on Instagram? @Adam_was_here__. Also, this song is a BOP! Best Wishes! ~A
They seriously outdid themselves on this one

Tigers Jaw Ben do you use the palisades as an always on pedal or do you get your clean/rhythm tones from the amp?
love itt 😍😝 it reminds me of my boyfriend i miss him soo much, he's travelling all the time cuz he's a marine, he says everytime he can see all the sea and sky but the sky is nothing compared to me 😔 great song, so many emotions

@@tiagocarvalho1141 this is either super adorable or somewhat creepy. Maybe it’s humor and you’re just funny.🤷♂️

Wooooo tigers jaw yeeeeet
is there an instrumental version anywhere?
Lads! It has become my quarantine's soundtrack, track by track. Are you guys scheduling a tour of South America 2021? Please say yes
Touring is very unpredictable right now but we want to come back as soon as we can!
Wicked good
Drums sound great and a nice little guitar solo. Keep rocking!
For the Q&A: What were some of the most memorable concert experiences you guys have seen, either on tour as TJ or before?
Death Cab for Cutie at Riot Fest was a big one - Ben
I'd agree with that. Soundgarden in 2015 at Soundwave Festival. - Teddy
A random girl came up to me and kissed me during a Warpaint show. That was pretty memorable. - Colin

Beautiful hopeless records!! Great music content :) Can’t wait for your next upload
goddammit I love you guys. thanks for this in a year of shit.
Q&A. What guitar pedal did you use on the solo around 2:26 ? Its very balance and Composure sounding. Love it.
It's a JCM 800 cranked, Carbon Copy delay pedal, and a Fender Marine Layer reverb pedal. - Ben
goosebumps
oh my fucking god i love this band
Will the new album feature Brianna as main vocal on a few tracks like with spin?
yes!
Did just signed with hopeless???
Ohh damn, no hate for hopeless but I wish you'd stayed with RFC
Loved this song either way
Stun gun and colorful are are my favorite songs from belongs to the dead. Do you guys think you'll ever play those songs again?
you never know!
A bit nervous about you guys signing to Hopeless after a less than stellar TMP album after they changed to Hopeless - keeping hopes high though, this song is great
Will Yip is producing so it'll be their usual level of quality. Going off of this alone, the production sounds better than Spin or Charmer.
For the Q&A: what’s your best advice as songwriters? Constructing, theorizing, feeling, and creating lyrics to something you think is releasable?
Step 1 is get rid of the word "releasable" and just make whatever you want at the end of the day. For the Q&A: Why do you guys never play Spirit Desire live and what is the meaning behind the song? Also, what’s your favorite thing about Knoebels? 😀

Yes yes he was.
When is the full length released ???

Their raccoon shirt is so badass on their website. Can't wait to get it.
For the Q&A: what’s your favorite thing about working with Will Yip?
His constant positive energy, Conshy Grapes at the end of a long ass day, pushing us to get the best possible takes. Love that guy.
Nolan says hi guys! He would like to know when you recorded this song. I told him probably before COVID hit, but he’s a details kid 🤣
Hi Nolan!!! We recorded the song in August of 2019 :)
