They've been a big part of my life and it's cool being able to talk to almost anyone about them
No you're not wrong even as a kid I thought this show kinda sucked. It was just the joy of having a new show that helped to gloss over any problems. At least until it was a few episodes in and you begin to realize it's nowhere near Spider-man or X-men's caliber of quality. I mean there was plenty of potential with some of the rogues gallery and I liked what they were setting up with the Zodiac. But it always felt liked they rushed some things and didn't finish other things. I mean the intro contains scenes that don't match any of the available episodes. Also your half right about Spider-man Unlimited. The other half is that in order to continue airing Spider-man for syndication they needed an active Spider-man series available and on air to fulfill their contracts with Foxkids.
That was part of the reason for Unlimited. The other was it wasn't produced by Sony who now owned the rights so they couldn't use anything from classic Spidey. No costume, no characters, nothing beyond Spidey himself.
I watched this show on youtube when I was about 10 or so, and I dropped it after one episode because they didn't have a single character I recognized or could latch onto. The fact that they were so gung ho about it in the first episode didn't help. Basically "This show will not be featuring Captain America, Iron Man, or Thor." But honestly, at 10 years old, not having spider-man was enough for me to drop.
Happy Birthday Xaiver and Happy 4th of July Also maybe I'm crazy but it seems like you've been being more and more kind towards MCU Spidey... That version is my personal favorite and I'm glad you've been at least giving it a bit of chance.... I'm proud of you and am hopeful for your future!
How dare you say that kind of thing about Matt fractions Hawkeye? It was a great run that improved his character immensely and differentiated him from the other heroes.
No he fucking isn't! If you read Hawkeye in any other comic before the Matt run, you know that he is flawed but very confident and skilled. The man once took down Iron man in his debut. The Matt run was fun but not exactly the best representation of Clint. It was written more for indie comic book fans and people who have never read a Hawkeye comic book before And since then, writers usually depict Clint as an irresponsible idiot who has to be saved by Kate. And now because of the popularity of Kate, she is going to be the lead in the upcoming Hawkeye TV show. It is one of the most overrated runs in comics and did more damage to Clint's name than good.
@@zemox2534 but ability doesn't equal interest, the fact is that before factons run Hawkeye was just one of dozens superheroes that were all almost exactly the same. Just look at the difference in amount of Hawkeye fans! Before factons run almost nobody cared about him, now he is relatively popular.
Now most modern fans think he us a fucking losers because most of the writers at marvel focus on that aspect. And if you fucking read any classic avengers comics with Clint like West coast avenges and Thunderbolts you would see and understand that clint was more distinct and fucking interesting before the Matt run.
I remember Dad buying this at the local comic con, and watching it with my sister and I (this was 2002, 2003, so before Marvel movies were a consistently big thing). My sister and I were both under 10, and had been pretty sheltered as far as most TV shows went. Scarlett Witch: What would I do without you? Both of us: He's gonna die now isn't he. That being said, I do admittedly still have a fondness in my heart when I think back on this show, since it was something my Dad, who has collected comics since the 70's, Avengers being the primary one, chose to share with us. .....I mean, it's not a good show, but the intention from it was a good feeling. I would have liked to see it live up to its potential.
Hawkeye actually got some decent representation in the 90's. He was a playable character in arcade games like 'Spider-man' of all games, and 'The Avengers' and was always a playable character on the home console ports. He was also on Ironmans cartoon as a main character.
I’m pretty sure Hawk eye is gonna be written as a real dad, he likes golf, he’s tired sometimes, he makes dad jokes, etc. Jeremy Reiner pretty much plays Hawkeye perfectly as a Dad

I mean, the avengers were obviously dissolved, but there was no time reference to know in what damn year they were happening. It could have been that the avengers were active in the 80s and in the 90s where the series takes place they left hank in command, I don't know, it's a very strange atmosphere to see today
And yet this Hawkeye is still cooler than the one currently starring in his own series.
I miss Snarky Hawkeye

Isn't there a Robot Master in Mega Man that looks exactly like Hawkeye's snow gear?
Oh hey, Snake.
I remember this cartoon!
I mean, I never watched it but to this day, you could walk into a toy store or gift shop and find one of those impossible to sell Tigra action figures collecting dust on the toy rack after 2 decades.
Because Tigra has no armor to sell with
stupid sexy waspinator made me laugh out loud, well done!
happy birthday man! been here since 2017, thanks for being around :)))
“Stupid Sexy Waspinator” is now my favourite sentence. Thank you very much for that
Genuinely more interested in the gay Hawkeye subplot you made up to give the show substance, can a writer please get on this?!
Do not give Marvel any ideas!
@@zemox2534 but this time it’s actually a good idea
@@Cdr2002 Hopefully it works out better than Gay Iceman.
@@smashmaster521 Why is everyone so upset about friggin Iceman being Gay? Was he really such a beloved member of the original X-Men? He's no Human Torch.
@@Clay3613 I think it was because he got outed by Jean reading his mind and instead of coming out by himself. The pushback I've seen came from this information coming from a traumatic experience, not that he's gay
Me and my friend went on a nostalgia binge and ran into your content, instant sub my friend, good shit~
I had a Falcon action figure from this show and vaguely remember an episode about a quarantine? There was a tent maybe?
I remember one where Hawkeye joins... a circus?
@@Mb_Drei I remember the iron man one. And the first one. This show came on at like 1:00 am sometimes and that was far beyond my bedtime
@@elijahblechman8633 In my country there was this series of DVD with episodes of various Marvel cartoons like the Spiderman animated series, Hulk, Ironman and even Silver Surfer. I've got a couple of random episodes of this cartoon thanks to that.
Pretty sure that was the episode with Egghead, they were quarantining Hank because his Pym Particles were tampered with.
@@captaincomic8678
Egghead? Wasn't that a villain from the 60s Batman TV series?
0:53 I remember those times vividly now all of a sudden it's cool like these characters I liked it more before this when the fan base was less "mainstream"to put it gently
Happy Birthday , Xavier , glad to know we share the same birth date ( yes I too was born on the 4th of July).
Happy birthday Nathaniel, glad to know we share the same birth date ( yes I too was born on the 4th of July).
One of the cool things i remember was instead of riding a winged ant Antman had small jet as a back pack that he would shrink and he would fly around in that.
That sounds sick! Though, I'm not sure how practical it'd be.
The show had some of the weirdest design choices possible
i wasn't done right in this show, i'm no leader i'm actually quite "small" when it comes to this
United We Stand Tigra appeared in the Chip 'n Dale movie
Bro it's so weird to think that Marvel characters used to be pretty obscure. I always grew up with them being really popular with the Tobey Maguire Spiderman movies and MCU around, so I'm glad I grew up with them being popular.
At least Tigra was hot. Probably turned me into a furry.
Gotta give the show that XD
Eww
I really hope your family and friends keep their pets away from u.
@@joemagyar7149 Chill bro, it's not like he's going to sodomize their dog or something

there's is no way in hell that kevin macleod music playing during the wasps suit up isn't a jobbythehong reference.
Happy birthday Xavier
I watched this show on youtube when I was about 10 or so, and I dropped it after one episode because they didn't have a single character I recognized or could latch onto. The fact that they were so gung ho about it in the first episode didn't help. Basically "This show will not be featuring Captain America, Iron Man, or Thor." But honestly, at 10 years old, not having spider-man was enough for me to drop.
15:36 How Ultron says father is honestly hilarious, I’m dying!
Coming back to this vid after watching the new chip and Dale film, cause a reference to this show was certainly the last thing I expected.
What do you mean , this isn't a video about Avengers Assemble .
We don't talk about that
@@stonefree7973 exactly
Star Platinum Well, then how it’s still running?
Fernie Fernandez I honestly don’t know, EMH was 20x better than that piece of garbage
Fernie Fernandez it ended and barely on tv
I know the music here is just royalty free jazz, but it kinda feels to me like the bit starting at 13:51 is a jobbythehong reference.
It's definitely a Jobby reference.
It's funny that the only character you can say became memorable thanks to this show is Tigra and that is because of Chip n Dale: Rescue Rangers
Happy Birthday Xaiver and Happy 4th of July
Also maybe I'm crazy but it seems like you've been being more and more kind towards MCU Spidey... That version is my personal favorite and I'm glad you've been at least giving it a bit of chance.... I'm proud of you and am hopeful for your future!
2:47 you should be proud of that line 👍🏾
6 months to make this video???? Dang dood - commitment!! I think the production of your video was longer than this was on the air.
11:55 pay attention to hawkeye's shoulder and how it changes color
How dare you say that kind of thing about Matt fractions Hawkeye? It was a great run that improved his character immensely and differentiated him from the other heroes.
It made him kinda a loser.
@@goodgamesir1750 So? They can’t all be awesome. He is far more interesting as a “loser” then he ever was before.
Seeing tigra again she needs more love and I hope she shows up in the avengers game
Yeah, Tigra needs more love.
At the very least we need a new Marvel Legends figure . . .
This is my first time seeing her on TV
And she alMost got a new cartoon with dazzler
I'm really curious to hear Xavier's thoughts on the Avengers anime
It's unironacly better then this cartoon and ASSemble.
The Disk Wars one?
@@onigames7309 Yes

You made me see the shade tone differences and now I can't unsee it
"This video took 6 months to make. I'm so tired. "

Hawkeye actually got some decent representation in the 90's. He was a playable character in arcade games like 'Spider-man' of all games, and 'The Avengers' and was always a playable character on the home console ports. He was also on Ironmans cartoon as a main character.
Damn, I was almost interested in that gay-Hawkeye subplot for a second there.
I’m pretty sure Hawk eye is gonna be written as a real dad, he likes golf, he’s tired sometimes, he makes dad jokes, etc. Jeremy Reiner pretty much plays Hawkeye perfectly as a Dad
You should review the anime version of the Fantastic Four
That show wasn't bad it's just forgettable and underrated
