Wow! El Nido is a busy commercialized place now. Somewhat like Boracay or mini Manila without the seaside view. What a small world for our Wonderful Explorer here even meeting up his BGC Neighbor/s from unexpected places. Small world it is. Small country too to bump in with oikos from places. Hehe. I was there a month ago. It actually have amazing seaside view, it just doesn't really have a nice coastal road. It's the town then immediately beside the establishments is el nido beach itself.

There are these two French guys selling crepes in the weekend markets in Makati. Not sure if they're still in the Saturday Salcedo Market or the Legaspi Sunday Market. But you can try visiting these when you get back to Manila.

Mergim you can go back there behind Sava at 6am and you can still find a joiner boat. There will be tour vendors around there to book you last minute. One thing though, there are two heavy storms headin' your way and the coast guard may cancel all island tours for the day or two.
There is like a Big & Tall place in Laguna. Some outlet store and they have large sized shoes and sandals. My Husband is also a US 13 and that was the only place we were able to find his size.
I highly highly suggest going to balabac after your coron tour. specifically the onuk island. I 100% assure you that you will be blown away.
Lots of business owner they will not follow the rules of DENR that 100 meter away from the shore of the water...hopefully this building...government need to make a action here...need to abolish the build8ng close the seaside
I use klook for tour and activities everytime I visit Thailand and some country in southeast asia, even here in Dubai, Its much cheaper and convenient.
You can visit Nacpan beach this beach is beautiful with less people in the beach .. 30 minute motor bike to Nacpan beach
If i may suggest, if you go to marikina, theres a lot of shoe stores there that can make shoes, sandals, slippers and its all made to order. If they dont have your size, theyll make it specially for you.
This episode reminds me of an RPG game wherein you need to go on a group quest with other characters, so you walk into a bar to recruit a few players... or rather, island hopping companions...
If u are going to Coron look into visiting Culion. It’s a neighboring island with visiting.

Always take the private tour. It's just better, and the staff know the right time to take you when there's not a lot of people in the sites.

I enjoyed my el nido adventures but I love Coron more . Also since you are in El Nido be careful of Nicnic . they are super itchy . They seem to love me, i brought my family with me but they only bit me =) lol

May I suggest re: your size 13 shoes … have you tried asking the Nike store there in BGC if they can order your shoes or sandals & style or model preferences? As one commenter mentioned, ordering online is convenient. It is so here in the U.S. and returns as well. Stay safe always. Don’t forget the sunscreen and water. 😊

If you want to take a historical tour when you go back to Manila, The Island of Corregidor is a place to go .
We literally have the same problem. Looking for US size 13 shoes is pretty difficult here. I get by with a few shoe brands that carry the size or order online but they can get expensive. Most of the time I rely on family abroad to send me shoes.

I use both Klook and Private, yes the Private cost more but you can set how long you stay and where and not be dragged along at a set time with everyone else

That abandoned boat must have been blown inland by typhoon Odette two years ago. El Nido looks like has a vibrant nightlife. It seems it never sleeps.
