I've got a 2016 Cummins that I want to delete, I love the sound of yours! I've Been doing some research on delete kits, but not sure which to go with and whats all I need, would you point me the right direction?
Erick Guzman sure thing man! So my exact setup is 5 inch flo pro turbo back exhaust, it's a straight pipe. Then I am using a EGR kit, and efi live tuning from higher power performance ! Feel free to ask any questions !
Victor DiVello man I'd like to get some info from you also , so EFI is the tuner does it do transmission tune to make it last longer etc ? I wannna keep mine pretty low on the HP boost because I'll be towing across the country . Where did you order your stuff from ?
Yes it is EFI, but i got everything i needed from higher-power-performance.com i currently run on the 100hp tune at all times. i am lifted 8 inches, and on 37inch tires. so far no tranny issues, 60k miles deleted and tuned. the tuning does have the option for tranny tuning which i have as well! Feel free to ask any other questions!
not a damn thing wrong with that, i do the same thing in semi trucks.. a lot of us run the jake when we shouldn't.. but it's just the kids in us i guess
Truck sounds awesome! I am just about to do mine. Is the downpipe 5" off road as well? Also, do you think it's better to delete and plate off the egr or just program it out? Just wondering if either way makes any difference in how it sounds?
Paul Paul it’s the back pressure and air squeezing out of the turbo while the exhaust brake is engaged. It’s 100% normal. With emissions intact you won’t hear it because of all the mufflers etc
Victor DiVello still no problems you sure it’s normal? Got a 16 Cummins deleted and tuned with efi live and is now making this squealing sound with exhaust brake
I have a 5" turbo 5" straight piped with lots of power. Deleted tunes to high 500s in HP but exhaust brake is pretty mild like stock. What do I have to do to enhance the exhaust brake?
Yea that's what I have read on the Forums , but seems if it's good for high hp tunes it would be good for stock and small tunes also . Confuses me , I was mainly reading that it makes the Turbo and exhaust brake a lot louder . Best thing I've done to mine so far is put a BD Throttle Booster on it OMG what a difference lol . Still waiting to make the decision on a delete kit , not wanting to void my warranty at the moment , reading about the 68rfe after Tunes makes me nervous but seems if you do a relearn it'll be fine !?
3Gunner I got trans tuning from my efi tuner, I'm at 70k miles and I always run on 100hp no tranny issues at all. I'm also lifted on 37s and tow a 50 foot 5th wheel haha! I'm rough on my truck! No tranny issues! If you got the money it's only 200 bucks or so for the intake. But it doesn't make a sound difference at all. Take out your intake baffle if you want a little more noise. It takes 5 seconds. Exhaust brake noise is only with the exhaust change;)
God bless this is gorgeous sounding
I could listen to this forever, I'd probably never listen to music
HemiRunner2011 isn’t it amazing? Haha!
Victor DiVello yeah, I love my Hemi, but I'm very torn on trading it in on a Cummins at some point
I own a deleted powerstroke and I must say this is one of the best sounding diesel.
Marcus Holy thanks man! I am so in love with this truck.
This things sounds like a battle tank! I love it.
Haha thanks! I amm so in love with the sound of this truck!
Sweet Cummins by the way !!!
Sounds like a male lion roaring in Africa 👌
Sounds amazing!!!! I love it.
Thanks man i love it!

What did you do about your dpf filter? Still in?

The filter was taken out, i have a 5 inch straight pipe in! Sorry for the late response. Didnt see your comment.

Sounds like a beast!!!!
How did you get it to sound like that
sholltz420 5 inch straight pipe deleted
I'd be playing with that all the time sounds so good lol
Sounds like a Jake
did it add torque?
Where are you located? How much to do my 14
joe B I’m in Arizona now. Where about are you located?
Victor DiVello I’m in Houston Tx.
Looks like aftermarket head lights. What are they? Are they any better over stock?
TheATVboy17 actually they are he stock ones! They are just the high end ones.
BMP Oh I didn't know ram offered them thought ram only offered halogens
sound like shit at my ear
How much lift u have
What lift and rim and tire size u running ?
HELL yeah ✌😎
CLBFTruckGuy glad you like it!
Awesome truck man! Are you running an aftermarket exhaust brake?
Nick Bear thanks! Nope it's stock!
sounds better than most freightliners and internationals
I agree! She has a pretty great sound. I tend to have my windows down a lot more than i should lol.
not a damn thing wrong with that, i do the same thing in semi trucks.. a lot of us run the jake when we shouldn't.. but it's just the kids in us i guess
i guess so!

Just like mine 😎🤘🏼
Kanoe Kamakau glad you liked the video! And glad you're still subscribed ! Haha! Hope your truck is still running as good as mine is!
It sounds like air escaping or leaking, is that normal? I ask because mine is doing it after I had it tuned after my EGR delete?
Paul Paul it’s the back pressure and air squeezing out of the turbo while the exhaust brake is engaged. It’s 100% normal. With emissions intact you won’t hear it because of all the mufflers etc

Do you have a throttle valve delete on there?
Wild Trucking Boys nope just unplugged it
Lol i thought i had an exhaust leak but i guess the squeal is normal
do you have it on a 12V tune?
Yup! i run it on a 12v tune pretty much 24/7 lol
Victor DiVello nice!
Auto trans?
E. K. Yessir!
@@VictorDiVello how is it? Thinking about switching to a 4th gen. Only ever owned manual Cummins
E. K. Do it! The auto is very capable of everything it needs to do.
Is it a 12v tune with factory exhaust brake and straight exhaust?
dustin carpenter yessir!
I have a 5" turbo 5" straight piped with lots of power. Deleted tunes to high 500s in HP but exhaust brake is pretty mild like stock. What do I have to do to enhance the exhaust brake?
Justin Rumbolt there really isn’t much you can do. Who did your tuning and do you have trans tuning?
Are you using the factory air intake ?
3Gunner sure am. You don't need anything else, unless you want looks. But the factory is enough till you push major power.
Yea that's what I have read on the Forums , but seems if it's good for high hp tunes it would be good for stock and small tunes also . I have an AFE cold air intake on my '13. Everything else is stock.. It makes a huge difference in sound on the exhaust brake
Felt like we were going to crash😖lol jk
Mad Mudder oh come on! Don’t say that! 😂
full brake or auto?
ALL KNOWING BILLY full brake. But they are essentially the same thing
just curious-I have a switch on my shifter - I like it when it has about a second to come on
I’m assuming it’s not a factory exhaust brake? Or is it an older truck? I can’t remember where the button was on the 3rd gens
I have a 2016 I just wired it to the shifter-------RAM UPGRADES ----is the search for it, fucked up and put it on my other channel-deleting next week
All you need now is to trade it in for a power stroke lol
omg
🤤🤤🤤
Cummins sucks
Francis Sullivan so does your mother ;)
@@VictorDiVello hey victor boy,I bet if you knew me,you wouldn't say that
Francis Sullivan I don’t know you. So imma say it anyways.
Gay....
Is this on towing mode and just push the exhaust brake?
