This CNG tank configuration is just like how they do it in trucks like Tata Ace and all, they put 3 separate cylinders so that range can be maximised while not compromising on space. Genius idea tbh, shows how some truck related features are actually great for consumer cars as well!
Tata had done great job by giving extra safety ( strips) for two cylinders and still managed to give nice boot space. Better than Maruti Suzuki cars who give just only pad to hide cylinder.
The hatchback provides over 200L of boot space when the tray is removed, making it a perfect choice for families in their 40s who prefer short trips. With its stylish design and loaded features, it also includes a 60L CNG capacity, spare tire, and puncture repair kit. I have an Altroz xz petrol 2020 model. Despite experiencing some particular issues as it was one of the first models, I'm glad for the feature loaded car at it's price when we bought it and it is an excellent car for highway journeys than a city car. In April, I took a fully packed 1200km trip with my mother, two pet rabbits, and a dog. I created a special platform at the rear seats dedicated to the rabbits for maximum space, comfort, and a cage-free experience. The dog is happy at the front. They cooperated well during the journey and felt safe and comfortable thanks to the smooth ride of the car. The trip was effortless and enjoyable. I'm looking forward to many more adventures!
@@abhilashpatnaik5322 ohhh 🆗 i missed it there... Actually you wrote the both about CNG and you're petrol model so got confused. And yes what was you're overall mileage and fuel consumed?
@@vedantshirodkar4686 Yeah, in the comment I'm appreciating the new CNG model with its features and conveying that the Altroz is a good highway car. Regarding the trip, we made 2 day trip. The fuel tank capacity is 35L, but it was filled up to the brim, adding another 2-3L. N2 filled tyres with 37psi (i know it was a little high). Based on my calculations, we consumed more than 70L of fuel in total. The efficiency was measured and shown 18.7kmpl at the destination. The maximum highway speed was 130kmph, while the minimum was 70kmph. More than 60% of the ride was on cruise control. The last 200km involved fairly rapid elevation changes. Please note that we had pets in the car and some stuff that need cooling (brought a ton of luggage), so the AC with engine(23c 5-2fan) was on throughout the trip non-stop, including during the combined 4-5 hour breaks. Therefore, I believe that if the pets weren't present, we would have burned even lesser fuel and achieved higher efficiency. Engine and transmission really came alive after around 200km mark. Out of the 1200km, 900km was on the highway, and we had to endure a very bad 55km stretch due to ongoing construction of a 6-lane highway. It took us more than 2 hours to cross that section. I hope this helps!
