These hedges must be practiced by women as well. One for me as a woman is the way that I dress. God spoke to me when I fully gave my heart to Him was to stop dressing for attention. Having men lust after me was feeding the sin within me. As I dressed for the day I started looking at myself in the mirror with the Holy Spirit speaking to me what was acceptable and what was not. Women that love the Lord must take responsibility and relinquish control to the Holy Spirit over this area. We must take this very seriously when we dress for work, shopping, vacations and even Church. We must remember that our bodies is the temple of the Holy Spirit and we should respect it as such.

I actually DID find an image of Jesus on the internet THIS SPRING. I added "My only Rock. My Redeemer." I have an app that sends photos to Walmart for printing, so I printed out 4 copies. I keep one in my car. .. I was going through a tough "Recovery-type" season breaking free from an internal addiction.
Who talked about boundaries ten or twenty years ago? And if you have boundaries with your spouse, shouldn't you put them in your vows? It's an integral part of the marriage. Also boundaries don't work with mentally ill spouses (and something like 30% of women report having mental health issues). What is the recommendation for Christian couples if one spouse is a serial violator of another spouse's boundaries? Separation? Divorce? How about going back to the old method? Societal peer pressure.

There is no such thing as "hedges" for a bitter man, even if he is a professing Christian. He will find a way to justify his behavior and it will ALWAYS be his wife's fault.

What if you noticed youre husband just throwing himself available to other ladies he is offering his time to them without even considering asking the wife "if its okay" or how she feels about it
