One of the most informative and to the point videos ive seen regarding a rigging setup. You deserve way more views. Really liked where you showed what the action should look like also.

Hello Cal…would you ever put one of your attic worms on a slow death hook?

No they are thin and should be fished on a smaller hook

I used that rig at Monument Lake 2 days ago. That lake is known to be tough to catch trout. Well 22 fish later I was done! And the only reason I was done was that I ran out of worms. So much fun. As I trolled around I asked other folks how they are doing and the most anyone else has caught was 5. Thanks Cal!!!

Cal I have been using the slow death hooks after you had mentioned them before on your channel. I rig and pull them just as you say except I add a swivel to the leader also because of line twist. I have shared your channel with others please keep up sharing your information and keeping it short and to the point. I use your book Trout Tactics as a reference manual and have added post its on the pages

    I’ve been
Using slow death hooks for trout sense you last mentioned it on your channel. I rig it a little different then you do. I add a #3 French blade above a rubber bobber stop places about 3” above the worm. I’ve had old guys who’ve fish my local lakes for 40 years what I’m using.

    Hi Cal,
I use a figure eight loop instead of a double overhand loop knot, I found with florocarbon line it's stronger.

Honestly they are great but I use them one time and I don’t think I gone use it again they are the most bendable hook I never use so I don’t trust them
