- This is our in depth review of the GAN356 Air UM, the culmination of a collaboration between GAN and Cubicle Labs. The Air UM is the first mass produced magnetic 3x3 by a manufacturer and currently stands as the world record cube.
With the default purple nuts installed, the Air UM is a fast, free moving puzzle with great maneuverability and flex. The cube's 48 magnets helping with stability and alignment and give the cube a unique tactile feel.

When Feliks was reviewing the cube his solves were (6.04), 5.79, 5.65, (5.02), 5.94 along with that 6.44 at the end

I love my 356 Air UM its so smooth, light, and customizable. I give a 10/10. I recommend it to anyone who doesn't want to waste money on a cheap cube.

I set mine up with yellow ges, and lubed it with traxxas 50k and dnm-37. It is literally the best cube ever.

i notice that if you loose enough the ges till he don't touch the center, the feeling change drastically and it become more smoother and faster. Did you ever notice that? No one ever talk about that.

Do 3x3 custom logo stickers work with this cube? (Since the center sticker is circular and the custom logo stickers are square)
I can solve a Rubik's cube around 1 minute however, I only have a Rubik's brand. would you recommend this to me or is it simply too fast? If so what other cubes can I get instead?

You could theoretically make a frictionless rubiks cube. If you made a cube super loose yet stay together and have repeling magnets inside it would become almost completely frictionless, theoretically tho.

Is Traxxas 30k a good lube and does it damage the cube with time? Im guessing if Feliks uses it then it must be good, but needed to ask anyway.

One of my corner piece's magnets are loose so it's makes a weird noise now, what should I do
Why everytime I corner cut my gans air UM 45 degress, the right side will magically become lighter and faster and the magnets will be stronger. Pls reply if you are having the same thing.

When you buy the cube, do you have to put the magnets in yourself or what?

I put Red nuts in and Visaline filled in the core and nuts and got a 5.76 solve
