1- Why did you become a moderator? 2- You know that it is tiring work, that it requires professionalism, you have to be impartial, the work is repetitive 3- You are scheduled to help the Convoy, keep an eye on possible trolls 4- When you apply a punishment by the system, you have to download this video, host it on a website and put the link so that the offender can see where he went wrong. 5- You are hunted for where you leave flaws, angry users, others are drool eggs, other innocent people who think that being your friend will be protected 6- All this to have a red name, use a different car with lights, receive orders and maybe ear pull without earning absolutely nothing. 7- In the slightest mistake you make, all your past, your history is worthless, you are simply removed and you will have to wait for 3 years to come back if you want. 8- Is it worth it?? Being a worker for free just for power??
1- Originally I became a moderator to try and help stop the trolls that unfortunately plague TruckersMP. Certainly I have done my fair share of banning, but I think it’s fair to say I underestimated how much work it can be at times. 2- yes I am aware of that, I do it every day. Bit, I would not say it is tiring. I enjoy it and so that gives me the motivation to do it. Remaining impartial is crucial but you can have multiple different people with different perspectives helping you out to make the best decision possible. 3- We are not required to attend any convoys. I don’t, because I do not like it but some do because they enjoy it. It’s down to personal preference, there’s no benefit or drawbacks based on your decision whether to attend or not. 4- Uploading the evidence can take a while at times but it’s part of being a moderator, so you expect that to be the case. It’s not a huge issue, each piece of evidence one recorded only takes about 2 minutes on average to process. Some more, some less. 5- this is true and it’s the unfortunate side of it. We are subject to abuse, people trying to make friends with us to get what they want etc. But if you can ignore it, which isn’t too hard, then it’s alright. 6- using the red name and police car is completely pointless in my opinion, unless you need to ask someone to remove their plates or change their tag. Unless you actually need to use your authority for something, it’s best to keep driving a truck with a white name as that way you will be more effective at catching the bad drivers. It’s rare that you will ever see me in a police car or with a red name, especially in busy areas. 7- this isn’t true. I’m not sure where you have got this from. We all make mistakes, and we are given advice constantly by GMLs on how to improve ourself. If you make a mistake big enough to be temporarily removed from the team, which thankfully I haven’t yet, then the cool-down period is not 3 years. I do not not exactly what it is, probably is judged on a case by case basis. But it’s around 2 months, maximum I would guess. 8- yeah I’d say it’s worth it, though not for the power. Actually I’m still here because I really enjoy the team atmosphere, spending time with team members is great fun and I’ve made some good friends through the team. Even met with a couple in real life. I don’t think of it as being a worker, more as volunteering to do some moderation, to any extent that I want to. I can do loads or relatively little, and it’s still good fun at the end of the day. Otherwise, I would not still be here.
@@harryp3286 You are just an exception among so many others who are showing off with cars and lights. Others take the opportunity to show power in lives and attract many followers because if you are in live just driving, hardly anyone will watch you. If one of them loses the position and plays another game, the visualization drops drastically. In my opinion, TruckersMP moderators should be the same as in so many other games, just do your part, if you want to play, you must submit to the same problems that ordinary players face. Maybe this whole pose is over.
ofc is for the power, the ammount of c0ck sucking you get from regular players just for showing up with a colored name in-game, also powertripping whenever you feel to compensate smth in your life... amazing job
how do ppl report so quick within 2 minutes? I thought there was a website you have to go into and that can take a lot of time to write out. Sorry i am new and getting collisions on me every hour by randoms.
There is a way to report people in game, which is where this is. However, you’re right in saying there is also a website report system. If you’re new I recommend using that as your report will definitely be looked at whereas in game once there are over 100 reports waiting, some are automatically deleted. The only difference is that on the website, you have to provide your own evidence that was recorded by you.

Hello, excellent video, out of curiosity, could you be a moderator in some way, basically it would be cool, but clearly you need requirements, what would they be? The truth is, people who shock you, etc., deserve a good ban, I can't stand it.

I am satisfied. As for the 7th question Some former members told me.

Someone's clearly been banned xD
hi, nice video. How could I be part of your team?
You can apply when recruitment is open. Check at truckersmp.com/recruitment
Are these videos all sent by the victims, or do you have some sort of video capturing the whole server?
Once you report a user, the server saves their last 2 minutes of gameplay and then we can view it.

How do you determine the length of a ban?
We have internal guidelines to advise us on ban lengths, but mostly we use our training to help us decide.
Wow all that training you sound very professional

Hello, how can I report a truckersmp moderator?
You can do so via the feedback system ; truckersmp.com/feedback
Why do you ban people??? Without such people the game would´t make so much fun
I can't wait to join the team! Very nice video !
Do you have discord ?
