    • @tarabagani7137

And when everyone is rich, no one will be. People will be so rich that their perception of being poor is given a tight margin. You will be looked at as a slum for making $100,000,000 less than the billionaires you live with. Suddenly, the wealthy 1% will segregate themselves in order to maintain a sense of superiority. I wouldn’t be surprised if less people are alive in this system.

And it's the voters who are voting for these crooked people, after all we're told over and over "Elections in America and free and fair!" except of course when Dems want to change the laws, change up the districts etc., as they claim "Republicans have formulated racist laws and district maps that hurt black voters!! We need to change everything!!"🙄The influx of these illegals is just another Democrat scheme where they hope to make them "citizens to become new Dem voters so Dems never lose another election!" all whilst using them for cheap labor as well as counting their heads in census yrs for the political/financial benefits.

Til the landlords started paying low rent ppl up to $100,000 to move . We used the money to put a down payment on a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom ranch house by the beach. Our small town has a private beach . All stores are close. I even got a car and hubby bought a pick up and since I had to quit my job in NY, I now started my own business. We have a one acre fenced in yard for our two orange cats and Rotti doggy . We love it here.

They love that these ppl don’t vote - have no vested interest in the city itself - basically leaving government to run everything. Hospitals have been being closed for condos since 2006 even though they blamed people for over crowded hospitals during covid when they had already sold off 3 downtown w no replacement. They back you further into a corner - pull the floor out from under you and then blame you - or get you to blame your neighbor. Anyone but them.

Keep the receipt in somewhere with your books or wallet so when the police question you about the spray you say you just forget you had the spray and receipt still with you. You remembered you still had the spray when you were being attacked and used it to defend yourself by spraying it into your attacker’s eyes so you could get away.

Along the same lines and regardless of which state you live in: If you are carrying a knife and the police ask you if you are carrying a weapon, it's important to say _"No, but I am carrying a knife that I use for utilitarian purposes."_ If they press you and ask if it's for self-defense, maintain that you only have it for utilitarian purposes and that it is not a weapon. The reason is that if you acknowledge that it is a weapon, or for self-defense purposes, they can get you for "concealed weapon" charges. This is also why the original comment about wasp spray was worded as it was.

When i lived in Albany I paid 350/mo in rent but there were no decent jobs outside of my friends who got government jobs. I live in the desert southwest. One unintended and, frankly, *unwelcome* consequence of the outrageous cost of living in places like NY and California is that (too) many of the people fleeing from there have come to states like the one I reside in...and now OUR rents and cost of living are _also_ starting to go through the roof, bringing horrible financial stress and rising homelessness to long time residents (aka: the locals).
This is something that needs to be fixed at the _federal level._
Otherwise, it will eventually come to some version of the French Revolution...with 21st century weapons. The rich should start paying attention, before their out-of-control greed makes them lose their heads...and no, that is _not_ a threat. That's a "heads up."

I'm not condoning any sort of revolution. Should it happen? As Thomas Jefferson said "A little rebellion every now and then is a good thing". But realistically speaking it would be next to impossible. Do you think the average working class, untrained, citizen armed with only a r*fle or hand g*n would be able to thwart an attack of a 1B$ fighter/bomber or tank?
Yes, numbers would be on the citizen's side but it would just be putting meat into the grinder.
      Just saying.

Adding insult to injury, most wages are significantly lower outside major coastal cities. There's less opportunity, period.

Its crazy that tiny 90 square feet apartments without toilets are £1200+ my morgage is £1250 and I own a 4 bed house, with a garage, back garden and a summer house. With a toilet in the garage. (Full bath and toilet in house) I live in the midlands in the uk. When we visited NYC the food was so expensive!! We spent all our vacation money on our food, rather than day trips :( however our national minimum wage is low, we make 28k-32k a year on Average.

My wife and I moved from Syracuse, NY to NC 10 years ago. Best thing we ever did. Our income is way up, and expenses are way down. Even with inflation we pay less per year in property taxes in NC today than we paid PER MONTH in NY a decade ago. And obviously the weather is great here too

NC is ruined now from everyone migrating here from New York and California the last couple years. Nothing is affordable here anymore. NC is already as expensive to rent as it is in NY now bc of the influx of people. It's overcrowded and it's no longer a nice place to live. Until a few years ago, it was a beautiful, quiet, peaceful and affordable place to live. Those days are over.

NY and California are ruining the south as well. It is even happening in Alabama. It is unbelievable. I thought we were all considered stupid bigots but it hasn't kept anyone away. Our politics is changing as a result. Happening everywhere and nobody learns from what they created. I am happy to have new people so long as they stop honking at everyone on the roads, stop voting for stupid shit, stop protesting for wars we have nothing to do with and stop thinking DEI isn't racist. It is even infesting our engineering companies where it is very hard to find really good tech people. Sorry, can't hire you cause you are light beige. If we don't turn things around this fall America will become California in every corner
