So the copper is essential? Also, if one doesn't have snow...ice, crushed ice, nothing? What awesome info, thanks!

I think cubed ice would last longer

I recently read someplace that you should only douche with hydrosol water specifically to help heal bacterial vaginosis or yeast infection naturally.... Whats your opinion on that?

Very cool! I'm trying to think of a way to make a natural fruit flavor concentrates of non-citrus fruits like apple and peace, without the sugar, fiber, ect, just want the essence, so was thinking about investing in a bigger destiller and recycling the hydrosol with a few cycles of fresh fruit to really concentrate it. Does this sound like a feasible and efficient meathod to you? I've been wracking by brain all day to figure out the best and easiest way of doing this.
I brew large batches of honey mead and would be nice to be able to add a little fruit essence to smaller batches on demand vs the alternative of blending in fruit juice or another 2-week ferment with chunks of fruit.

I'm literally looking up how to make hydrosols so I can put in my mead to, lol. How did it go for you?

Love the snow idea, but I'm gonna have a little trouble finding snow here in Florida -- lol It's ice cubes for me! :) Great Video!

    Should use calendula petals, too.

Why hydrosol instead of using the decoction of these plants?
