I have built this kit and I will tell you it is indeed an excellent model kit. All kits have some problem areas and this model is no exception. The stencil decals don't adhere very well and the missile rail for the sidewinders are difficult to attach to the pylons because of limited sized attach points. These are very minor points to be aware of .
Summertime downtime keeps looking better by the moment! Can't wait to get my paws on this. "Imperfect models will teach you patience, and problem solving skills to become a better modeler"🤔
For a tiny operation, FineMolds does amazing work. I enjoyed their Bf 109F but that pales in comparison to their newest work. I’m looking forward to their Viper Zero, too! The 2x markup in Europe is unfortunate though…
Fine molds may well be the best injection molded polystyrene manufacturer ever. I've got the Falcon and all the Star Wars ships and several of their Lapua kits and they are about as perfect as I have ever seen.
Looks like a super kit. But those stencils! One spends twice or three times the time used in building the kit to apply the million and a half stencils! :-)
For those who want a NICE Cockpit, let me recommend Quinta Studio for their 3-D Resin Cockpit set. If you plan on using the kit's Decals, use Tamiya Decal Set. It will help with the larger Decals like the Shark mouth and etc. There are other video reviews on this kit already and I suggest that you watch them as well to get some useful ideas on this kit. HTH!
Yes, but than again if you add weapons set to 41euros , with shipping, come close to 60e and they say Tamiya F-4B is expensive (at recent sale for 78e!)... anyway it's just worth for the decals etc. I really like it
@@ScaleModelAircraft true that.Again,i have some nice weapons from other kits but if you want ultimate phantom then …go for their set.Have you notice that really good 1/72 kits are almost there with prices with decent 1/48 kits…hell even with excellent kits. And they say this hobby is on his dying breath…
larger scale kits are for people with bad eyesight 😂 72scale kits rule and what we aregetting now easily rivals and with many kits surpasses larger scales
I like the 1/72 scale builds as I learn more from them than bigger scales.
For me 72nd is great for storage 😆
Agreed!
As a Phantom " Phanatic " I'm looking forwards to your build ! Thank you for posting this video and hope you have a great/safe week !
Thanks Tony!! All the best!! Dusan.

3:20 No, I can't wait to see how this kit turns out. Besides, it makes sense to build a 1/72 scale Phantom after the F-15E Eagle.
Lately I have received a kit by finemolds too and was stunned by the quality of the molds.

Do what you like to do not what other people tell you to do.
Nice little kit! great molds by Finemolds
Who needs a 1/32 if you can have THIS amount of detail in a 1/72? Small is beautiful!
Agree 👍
gorgeous, thanks for the preview!
Wow! FineMolds definitely raising the bar for the level of detail in smaller scale kits.
I think you should do this one next as it looks like a amazing kit
These details are amazing.

That F-2 is on my list. I do have older Hasegawa but in 48th scale. Still nice kit.

Awesome looking kit.
Looks nice! 👍
Build what you want to build, Not what other people say you should. There are plenty of Yt's out there that build the larger scale model kit's.

So awesome kit! I knew it is great, but now I realize how great! ;) Thank You very much, I must build it at once. All the best for You! ;)
It's even better in person. All the best!! 👍
Looks fantastic. I hope finemolds would be more present in Europe soon 👍
That is a very nice-looking kit. I'm already looking for a US retailer that carries FineMolds kits.
I like it, looks like a good kit.
Belo Kit excelente trabalho👍
I’d like to see your talents on a 1/24 kit!
wow I need this one :)
Just great!
🤝👍good model
build it please, i wanna see the end result
This kit is really nice. Except the price is scary 😟
And I nearly thought that Hunter released new Warthunder video. 😂
What's with the gloves? Does the Phantom have COVID?
Can you make p51 Mustang Indonesia version
hi, is this kit still available?
Well it's in stock in many places, I bought it recently. All the best 👍
Looks nice but your friend is probably right, you should build bigger scalemodels like the revell Focke Wulf because they have much more details!
Nonono!!! Please build this one first! You might do a bigger scale kit after this one. 😉
Ok ok will see what should I do... 👍
At the moment no FW 😕
Does it come in1/48 scale?
I'm afraid that you should look for the Zoukei Mura kit in 48th scale for Early E.
@@ScaleModelAircraft thank you! I'll see if I can find one. Really enjoy your videos! Please keep them coming!
As hasegawa…no weapons.Price is high but it is normal this days.
i can agree with the price for new molds with extremely high detail like this one. i cant abide a high price for a 40 year old mold rebox.....

Just a comment for the algorithm
build it for us
I'm sure the old Revell 1/32 f-4e kit has more detail than this fine molds 1/72 kit! /sarcasm.
Well, I should check, I do have that kit, but unopened. 🤣
We have 2022 and someone thinks that 32 scale has still more details than 72? LOL :D
