    I’ve tried a lot of approach discs… zone, tactic/razor claw, devil hawk, toro, A2, A3, A5, PX-3, P3x, slammer, gator, deflector, mutant, pyro, MD5….
    I found that the Zone, A2, and devil hawk were the best feeling and most consistent with my game. Runners up were tactic and pyro

    I am looking at a mint, zone, harp and a toro and i got to say that thry look so close to one another. They are all great discs imo.

      From what I can tell the harp is by far the deepest of the discs you are looking at. Done being the thinnest, toro is just ever so slightly deeper than the zone. Have not thrown a mint

    I bag both I have 1 toro and 2 zones use them for different approaches because the zone has a little more glide I’ll use it for longer shots and the toro is a bit more over stable so really good if you have to meat hook it around an obstacle

      Have u used an A1 at all? I have a new one that I have been throwing. I do like it but it is really beefy ATM. It has a small bead on it. I don't know if I like it. It is kind of weird. If you power grip it then you don't notice but if you can grip it then you might think you are throwing a putter. And while it is only a three speed, it is so beefy.

    I switched from a get freaky/jawbreaker zone duo, to a prodigy A2/A5 duo. I’m very happy I did, I just prefer the feel of the A2, and the A5 is like a seasoned esp zone right outta the box.

    I've used Zone, Harp, Pig, Justice, Savior, and Peppermint (will be adding Mint to that list soon). Out of all the overstable approach discs #1 goes to Peppermint, #2 goes to Savior, and #3 goes to Zone; though I will say it's a close race =)

      Berg is great but very different from a Zone or Toro. Berg is a torque resistant straight shooter that will sit. Zone/Toro are overstable, flex shot, spike hyzer etc. IMO they are different slots and you should have both.

    Used an ESP Zone for about a year and just swapped it for a Tempo. My son loves his Get Freaky Zone. Both are great discs and you can't go wrong with either. If we need more OS, he uses a Zone OS and I have a Deflector. My son hit a $500 Ace with a Harp as well.

    The get freeky squish zone is the best approach disc and it's not close.
    Maybe Innova makes a squish Toro and it could be close but not now.

    What's the 3rd Discraft disc you bag? I've got the ANAX and Scorch in heavy rotation, along with the Buzz and Zone. I use the Sol exclusively on certain types of shots/ holes. Heat found its home and I just recently got an Undertaker, Luna, and Meteor on a discraft special at my local store. Don't know if they'll stay

    enjoyed the vid. some hopefully productive advice. when filming, try to stand a little farther away during puts to the the whole view. I was getting nauseous trying to follow the puts with all the shaking and turning. from a viewer perspective, we dont need to see a pan during the putt. a view from a distance works better.

    • @RichKent
      @RichKent 8 місяців тому

      I agree but I also often bag a 6x ESP Zone. It goes straighter and further than a get freaky and that’s a nice shot to have - especially forehand.

    • @bustatron
      @bustatron 8 місяців тому

      @@RichKentbut why care how far a zone goes? I don't have a strong arm and I can huck a zone 250' pinpoint. Squish zone lands softer and has amazing grip.

    • @RichKent
      @RichKent 8 місяців тому

      @@bustatron why care how far any disc goes? 250' with a zone is a stronger arm than most. I bet you could huck an ESP zone 280 - 300 - and sometimes the basket is that distance and an ESP zone is perfect for the throw. I've aced with my ESP zone - but not yet with a get Freaky.

    • @bustatron
      @bustatron 8 місяців тому

      @@RichKent fair, excess distance is always useful. Just with this disc, especially the squish, control is paramount. My entire game is built around squish zone upshots and, go figure, pinpoint upshots within 250 gets damn good scores even with trash tee shots.
