I think the only thing worse in terms of animation in alpha is just diamatti, mp5 and ak47, both are so bad in alpha but now its slightly better, but its still bad
My opinion but its just a game, you’re not gonna admire your god tier reloads while under pressure by the enemy, be focused on the objective and use your sense of surroundings to even say, “ Wow, i love this reload.”, in any multiplayer shooter. I love modern warfare and it’s ttk time, but i love cw better for its way faster gameplay and less relying on doors and shit lean mechanics. Even if CW is massively flawed I’ve had more fun playing CW with its well better designed maps than modern warfare, if the guns were done like mw its would’ve been way better received but honestly i would care less of authentic reloads in a video game.

Ah yes, I got really high hopes for BOCW when the trailer and know your history event came out, only to get disappointed by the look and feel of alpha BOCW, and even more sad by how they released the final version. I only played BOCW for Nuketown and Zombie since then -_-

Remember when playing the Alpha and Beta, the 1911 actually sounded like, felt like and had the recoil of the original? I was so hyped to use the OG 1911 in zombies, was really hoping it would have explosive damage when Pack a Punched. Would be a cool throwback - in World at War when you Packed your 1911, you got a single pistol back that fired a huge explosive payload. So it would have been nice if they had different Pack a Punch upgrades and names depending on whether your pistol was Akimbo or not. But alas, the 1911 in CW is poopy, doesn't sound the same and also isn't called Mustang and Sally. Instead you get Pain and Suffering... literally. Thanks Treyarch.
sound design doesn't matter unless its regarding footsteps in which this is one of the best cods for that. But the game had been graphically changed tremendously and it's still fun.
I prefer most of the final animations, and think they look much more polished. A lot of the ones that changed had an overly animated and floaty look to them in the alpha, but by god did Treyarch give us one of the worst HK slaps I've ever seen with that final MP5 dry reload. It's kinda funny since I believe they gave us one of the best HK slaps with the MP5k in BO1, but now they've given us one of the worst with CW.
@@fifteen8850 the tactical reload where you just sort of flick the charging handle with your thumb is fine, it's not flashy or anything but it gets the job done. The dry reload though with the downward slap using the palm side of your fingers is just a disgrace, it's not satisfying at all. The best HK slaps are diagonal chops or closed fist punches with the wrist. Also as a sidenote I hate the sounds they used for when the charging handle is folded and released, it doesn't sound very realistic rather more like a toy or from a 20 year old game. The MP5 reloads were much better in MW19, and like I said before I believe the MP5k from BO1 still has one of the best HK slaps in games.

However I prefer the final version for the dry reload as I'm just a sucker for underhand reloads on kalashnikovs, and flicking the empty magazine off with a fresh one is always cool. I don't really care if it's "too modern" for the time period, it's just a cool animation.
What the final had was better sounds, but worse animations If they kept the animations and hammered on any potential bugs, the game would actually be good
Fun fact, the alpha also featured unique reload animations for hybrid mags (mag attachment that increases the reload speed and ammo capacity). It wasn’t just the default reload animation sped up.
They downgraded the model and animations for the Diamatti and the AK-47. The Diamatti seems less shiny and more boxy, while the AK isn't even an AK-47 anymore. The ridges on the top of the gun, that weren't there in the alpha, aren't on the top of an AK-47.

The AK in the Alpha is an actual AK-47. The model they used in the final product is an AKM. one of the few times a game gets the right AK then they fuck it up
The alpha build animations are like very polished, traditional stiff cod animations but the final build animations are like less polished, slightly floaty MW 2019 animations, but still overall much smoother and better. Ends up in-between the old style and new. I think the only thing that looks worse is the new M16 hipfire because of how unnatural and stiff the recoil kick looks.
Also I don't understand how people are now complaining about the new animations when during the alpha there was an overwhelming response from the community about the animations being worse than MW. The only thing I agree with is the alpha iron sights look better but that's because the viewmodel fov was changed, the actual firing animation is worse.
for the ak47 they should've kept the alpha reload animation because compared to the one they have now its more janky plus the one they have now is more modernized P.S the stoner sounds better in the alpha

@@GreenBean__ the campaign is made to feel realistic, well still with cod typical over the top action but campaign in MW2019 is amazing especially graphically and with all motion capture. Gunplay in MW is the best not only in whole cod franchise but out of all games I played in terms of smoothnes, feeling and animatioms, perfect mix between looking very realistic visually while still playing prety arcady like cod. Also, MW2019 is most successful cod in cod history. I'm not gonna say that it's overall best cod but it definitly has some aspects that are best in whole franchise and it deserves a huge respect.

Man, the animations of the final version are so messed up. How can you mix smooth (L96, AK74u, M4, M16) with robotic reloads? (M1911, M14, Type 63, AKM) That's just weird. Sounds are... idk, they are weak on both versions. Somehow the graphics on the final version are a bit better than alpha/beta (take a look at the Krig 6 or Type 821/Milano 821 clip, focus on the background, not on the gun).
How are they “messed up”? Robotic reloads for the guns u mentioned? They’re the exact same but less floaty, which is a good thing imo. Sounds are def better than in the alpha imo, minus the stoner’s, and of course the graphics are better in the final version

If you don't know what i'm talking about, compare the L96 reload and the AKM, one looks completely good but the other feels weird since it lacks a couple of frames. What I mean is that you can't use a style for a couple of weapons and then use another for the rest of the arsenal because it would be weird. Sounds are still weak and the AKM is a proof of it, it sounds like "pof pof pof pofffff" instead of" BANG BANG BANGGGGG". They can be better obviously but apparently 3arch doesn't seem to care about it, so we won't have good gun sounds. Yes, I know that COVID-19 had some impact on the development, but c'mon, now that the pandemic is starting to get controlled they could go to a range, record all the firing sounds, put them in an update and there you go.

I don't really mind the reloads or sounds actually, but the one thing that bothers me is the way the gun recoils without ads, it almost looks like instead of going back to the player direction its going forward, it can be seen really well at 3:43, it's so weird and makes gunplay so awkward, other than that i think the reloads and sounds while not great, work really well for this game

I’m glad Treyarch changed it but damn the current reload tries too hard to look like MW’s & end up look janky af like you said. No haste whatsoever. @@GreenBean__ the campaign is made to feel realistic, well still with cod typical over the top action but campaign in MW2019 is amazing especially graphically and with all motion capture. Gunplay in MW is the best not only in whole cod franchise but out of all games I played in terms of smoothnes, feeling and animatioms, perfect mix between looking very realistic visually while still playing prety arcady like cod. Also, MW2019 is most successful cod in cod history. I'm not gonna say that it's overall best cod but it definitly has some aspects that are best in whole franchise and it deserves a huge respect.

Man, the animations of the final version are so messed up. How can you mix smooth (L96, AK74u, M4, M16) with robotic reloads? (M1911, M14, Type 63, AKM) That's just weird. Sounds are... idk, they are weak on both versions. Somehow the graphics on the final version are a bit better than alpha/beta (take a look at the Krig 6 or Type 821/Milano 821 clip, focus on the background, not on the gun).
How are they “messed up”? Robotic reloads for the guns u mentioned? They’re the exact same but less floaty, which is a good thing imo. Sounds are def better than in the alpha imo, minus the stoner’s, and of course the graphics are better in the final version
@@fifteen8850 Did you read the part where I said that some of the guns have smooth reloads while others have robotic ones? That's what I mean by "messed up". If you don't know what i'm talking about, compare the L96 reload and the AKM, one looks completely good but the other feels weird since it lacks a couple of frames. What I mean is that you can't use a style for a couple of weapons and then use another for the rest of the arsenal because it would be weird. Sounds are still weak and the AKM is a proof of it, it sounds like "pof pof pof pofffff" instead of" BANG BANG BANGGGGG". They can be better obviously but apparently 3arch doesn't seem to care about it, so we won't have good gun sounds. Yes, I know that COVID-19 had some impact on the development, but c'mon, now that the pandemic is starting to get controlled they could go to a range, record all the firing sounds, put them in an update and there you go.

i feel like the alpha had so much hype and build up and it in general felt way more satisfying then the final.
Is it just me or are the ironsights and visual recoils in the full game more obstructive than they were in the Alpha and Beta? How can they make something that was so good so bad?
I like how the alpha is a believable black ops game but the finished product looks like if black ops and modern warfare had a child that had 24 terminal illnesses
I don't really mind the reloads or sounds actually, but the one thing that bothers me is the way the gun recoils without ads, it almost looks like instead of going back to the player direction its going forward, it can be seen really well at 3:43, it's so weird and makes gunplay so awkward, other than that i think the reloads and sounds while not great, work really well for this game

I had a decent time on multiplayer, campaign was nice, and always have a bunch of fun times on zombies with friends, I don’t really regret buying it.
