Welcome to 159 East 61st Street, a stunning, mint condition, south-facing mansion located in the heart of the Upper East Side. Measuring at 21 feet wide, by 57 feet long and over 7,500 square feet - this awe inspiring home is complete with 6 bedrooms and 6 full bathrooms across 3 floors, with 2 additional powder rooms to accompany the Parlor and Kitchen/Garden levels. A grand impressive staircase serves as a central hub, ascending the nucleus of the entire home, parallel with an oversized elevator accommodating 3+ passengers. The entire home was meticulously renovated to support modern living without compromising the integrity of the home’s traditional elegance, unique character, and original details. The generously proportioned garden, measuring over 40’ x 21’ is a modern oasis with surrounding planters, built in surround sound, natural gas fireplace and natural gas grill. The highly functional seller incorporates a full gym, wine storage, an industrial size laundry room, as well as a full bathroom and staff’s quarters. Further features of the home include central heat/AC, built in security including coded gates, alarm, and video surveillance.

Finally, a renovation that doesn’t look like a spaceship.
Or the inside of an empty refrigerator
Ikr. 😄👍
Notice the iron bars on the front entrance. Little crime there?
No elevator, jo deal.
Real security. Steel door surrounded by glass. Very secure.
Breathtaking. For a 60 year old person like myself, this is the stuff dreams are made of.
For a 21 year old person like myself, this is also the stuff dreams are made of for me
For a 14 year old person like myself, this is definitely the stuff dreams are made of.
Aaanda manga de pobres
For a 57-year-old like me, I need a yard for my pups. Love those rectangular windows, though.
The townhouse has an awe-inspiring classy traditional design. The woodwork is unsurpassed. The stonework striking. The light pours bright brilliance through each dazzling window. The grand salon with fireplace, the den with fireplace, the other bedroom shown with fireplace adds a cozy warmth. Fireplaces are just EVERYTHING! The sophistication and sheer elegance of the kitchen a joyful place to cook and enjoy meals, delightful. The outside patio is lush the perfect spot to enjoy the calm..Thanks Ryan, Ariel, Chase and the S. team for a tour of stellar!
Omg this is my dream house. I'm living vicariously through this virtual tour. I would not change a thing about this house 😍
Glad you like it!
This home is immaculate, beautiful. It takes a lot of love to create something like this.
Really appreciate the integrity the builders put into this . They rarely make em like they used to so glad to see the old architecture is preserved with detail
Normally, I do not like Town Houses that much, because usually they are too narrow and too vertical and thus too exhausting to walk or even take the elevator up and down, but as this one is neither too vertical nor too narrow, I do love it
This is one of my favorite properties Serhant has shown ever! I just moved to New York and its a goal to own a place like this one day (don't worry I'll buy from Serhant lol). SO gorgeous.
The music is as sophisticated as the townhouse.
One word: Classy. Incredibly so.
It's quite evident no expense was spared. Well thought out and executed. Go SERHANT. Go S.
Omg!! I would call Ryan ASAP!! The minute I would win the powerball, the homes he shows are beautiful, he is the sales GOAT, the way he explains the homes you are just hooked❤️❤️❤️
How beautiful. All that history!
this is what i call style. perfect
This is beautiful and that kitchen is everything absolutely stunning ❤️🔥❤️
ryan really knows how to tell a story
It's official. Heaven does exist and it's a Serhant Townhouse on the Upper East Side. 😲
Wow.....just Wow!!!!
Whoever did the renovation has exquisite taste..fabulous😘
This video brought me to tears...
This place is gorgeous.
Love it!!! ❤❤❤
Really really like this. Has a lot of character! 👌🏾👌🏾
Absolutely stunning.
OK, Ariel Sassoon is pretty much the smoothest name I've ever heard.
Beautiful!!❤❤❤❤
Just gorgeous. Really well laid out
Thanks for the presentation! 👌
Gorgeous!
I love this!
❤ GORGEOUS ❤
I like nearly everything about the house, the library being supercozy, the Salon...my least favorite angle though is the view from the dining room to the garden. I know the bars in front of the window enhance security, but at the same time create a sort of prison feel.
Beautiful. ❤
I ❤ NY.😊
Polished!
Aw, how sweet! Ryan brought his child to work!
It does beg the question of why anyone would spend $100mill+ on a billionaires row penthouse when something like this is available for significantly less just a few streets away
Oh hi Chase, i remember I saw you last time on youtube around 3 year's ago showing a kind of funky but cool looking house with another youtuber.
It is beautiful
❤❤❤POINTING
Great.
First is the worst second is the best and third is the one w the treasure chest , and I’m third too ;)
Not going to lie it is beautiful. Maybe in my next life
"And on the back of this floor, we have, (go to high voice) maybe my favorite room in the house!" Boy, he lays down the luxury house talk. Blah, blah, blah, sell it, sell it, sell it. I also like the two schlubby looking associates at the beginning of the video, nothing compared to the Serhant's manicured look. (They could be wonderful agents, but they just look schlubby, let's be honest.). The house is impeccable, move in, luxury look, fantastic location I am sure it has sold for full price.
More bookshelves would be nice.
Hi Ryan!!
You and your team do a tremendous service Ryan Serhant.
❤❤❤❤
Jawdropping☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆
Who was the interior designer on this? The mix of contemporary and traditional is done so well.
Love it. Has an amazing feel to it. One question - what about a garage? Does it have one?
In England in the distant past, they taxed the homeowner in a townhome by the number of WINDOWS. You tour England and you see the ancient townhomes with bricked up windows...The wood panels are so rare. I wonder if these places have SAFE ROOMS.
I love how it feels like he's trying to sell this house to me, while my bank account is $40
jokes aside, strong charisma and amazing video! I'd definitely buy this house.
I really wanted to write that I'd gut the place and start over, just to see the myriad of people who would berate me for it. 😄
Lol, love your videos. So full of superlatives and hyperbole.
That has to be the first kitchen I actually liked. By comparison, previous properties went overboard with stone for my tastes.
Very nice and immaculate. The kitchen and the back yard are best for me personally. However, with the colour schemes and furniture used in the property, it is far to old-fashioned, archaic in nature. That being said, it would be a brilliant property for personnel who are generally 60-plus. Still pretty nice.
Ryan has a beautiful speaking voice. He should look into voice over work if he hasn't already.
Steel door is nice for security as Ryan said, shame about the glass in the middle of it😂. Nice house though . Congrats serhant team
serhant - "you could have an inlaws suite."
Dr evil - "how about no"
i would like this house much better if it was on the other side of park ave and closer to the boat pond, however still within the magick area.either side of central park below the museums.
This is comedy genius. Look at them !
Right down to the disheveled suits as the camera pans in.
Look at the tree stake skewed and crooked as they do the street view. Honestly.
A shame they didn't all continue introducing a room each. It would have been funnier.
Entry. Where do you put your rain coat, parka, umbrella.
The steel front door and prison gates on the back. I guess you could sleep at night knowing no one could break in.
First!
Beautiful home….
But the camera shouldn’t be on Ryan the whole time. He speaks about the breakfast nook and the stonework outside and the is no shot of it. Also, start with a wide shot of the rooms then close in on the details. Buyers would get a much better understanding of the space.
For the avoidance of any doubt, an extra window to the width of a townhouse on the UES = $3k/month extra in property tax ))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))
Taxes are over $100,000.00
A library with books that no one ever have read. A home where no one reads, except the bills and the cereal package in the morning.
Stunning opulence
Where do you keep the Bentley and the Range Rover?
Sheesh Ryan…you just sold 123 East 61st St. now this 🤯🤯 congrats 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
A house fit for Chuck Rhodes
fawn less show more?
Ryan, you’re probably the only broker I know. Who can play jazz music in the background of a listing. And look, and sound, even that much more cooler. Beautiful home indeed,
This guy says "really really really" a really lot
You are going to get a lot of exercise walking those stairs.
On second male council , drjaurvoius , simound frued
Second
W😍W how much is that house? 🤑
Looks like Francie Underwood's house
can I pay this off in installments?
What is the obsession with powder rooms/bathroom in the US? 9 of them for 7 bedrooms. OK.
Ten down and we go to Kitty Carlile...
Are you in show business.....?

Chase .... oh Chase....... 1st time in this show had someone can't fit in a suit.
UGH!! Take my snobby money. Now!.
16.5 million 0.0
Clasic mafia house
they all look like AI characters
This is a door, this is a steel door, talk about security!.... the door is literally made out of glass......
Any luxurious houses without indoor garages are pointless.. that’s way further due
living here would be a drag. lets be honest
omg, did he say he needed a cocktail while on the job?
The owner had to move because he could not afford to live there
Boring! Would rather live in a studio in Times Square
Have fun with that😬
Bof, pas terrible
Cool, but no young couple would want this as is. This is more of an old person's property. Cool, but no thx. Gut rehab all day.
I’m young (gen z) and this is by far the nicest townhouse I’ve ever seen.
I would love for the open concept minimalist chic trend to die, but it’s kind of sustained due to the surge of house flipping/investment buying and the need to make a house as generically likable as possible (ie zero character) in order to have the best and most marketable reselling chance, not to mention cheaper for said house flippers
And obviously there ARE young couples out there who’d love to buy a place like this, but could never dream of affording it; this is due to a lot of factors like wages unable to keep up with an increased cost of living, inflation, rents being too high to leave room for saving, people with the money to do so buying up affordable housing in order to resell for a higher price and out-competing people who would actually live in said homes, etc etc.
TL;DR it’s not as simple as it just being a trend for millennials and gen z
Define “old”please ….
I have my own couch!
Dusting the place must a full time job
Beautiful 👍🏿Beautiful 👍🏿 Beautiful 👍🏿 just simply beautiful 👍🏿as always no disrespect intended New York City USA ❤🧡💛🤍🖤🤎💜💙💚
Nice place, but I too much wood 🪵 I will renovate. 😊
