I’m a former heroin user myself and I completely agree. I used needles myself and any time I discarded it, I always broke the spike off and put in a bin. I’d hate to think a child (or adult) would prick themselves. They could have easily burnt them on the little fire they had.

Half the people I studied with are either working in a lab earning 17k a year or ended up in a completely different industry because science jobs don't pay well enough. The country is a joke. When lidl and aldi pay thousands a year more than laboratory roles what's the point? If I could go back I wouldn't bother with education, it's got me nowhere other than in lots of debt...

Honestly... we have Fireman Sam, or other job-related shows for kids. Really, why not litter pickers/street cleaners as well??? We need to expose people to the problems and effects of littering, and starting that education young is just as good as any other education, if not better!
