thank you so much i finally got it! i looked at 3 fishtail braids tutorial and i successfully did it after watching yours :). no one said to take the piece farthest from the other side, thats what really helped me.
same with me! usually zoella helps but this made me get it :)
I've been practising this braid for 3 weeks for my assessment and I must of seen like 20 videos, but FINALLY after watching this video, I finally get it. I can now do it with ease. Thank you soooo much xxx.

First of all, you are totally adorable and smart and a great public speaker. Secondly, thank you for showing how to do a fishtail braid in such a clear, easy-to-follow way. I am growing out my short hair and am really looking forward to the day when it's long again so I can try to do this. Your video was great!

Thank you so much for this FREE tutorial. I enjoyed watching it and am excited to try it on my daughters hair. As for the plethora of awful comments? Please ignore it all? I am really astonished at the bad behavior and unkind choices people have made in this thread. A simple "thank you" all suffice. People your awful statements really do say WAY MORE about YOU than our presenter. Really, I don't know what more to say except that I was SHOCKED at some of the comments I read. I had to stop.

HEY! What if you have bangs!
What I do for that is decide how much of your bangs you want...not in the braid (Lol I'm so bad at explaining things)....and leave those out when you bring all your hair together. Then, even though the bangs are shorter generally, the braid should be able to secure them.

I couldn't do it at first coz i have frizzy static hair but its easier to do it if ur hair a bit damp and straightened

Oh wow i am amazed i have just tryed this tutorial out for the first time as i have never been able to do a fishtail plait and wow i am amazed as it had come out perfect thanks sooo much for this tutorial.... this tutorial takes you step by step and i have just perfected a fishtail plait ! you are epic
"it's even hard for me"...........sooooo does that imply that since it's hard for you, no one else will have the ability to do it? I skipped forward a lot in this video and I still heard you say "it's even hard for me" three times. That's comes across really arrogant.
No offence 'CGholl', but it seems as though you’re the one who’s being arrogant with your snarky comments. I’m pretty sure her use of the phrase “it’s even hard for me” is not implying that she believes no one else will have the ability to do it, but she is aware that she is the one giving the tutorial here, and so anyone who is watching it most likely implies they need help and are probably not as experienced at completing this kind of braid as she is. So I wouldn't be so quick to judge.
Elena Adz totally agree with you, once I watched this video, I gave it a go, I found starting it off was a little tricky but soon picked it up, but yeah agree with what you said x
She probably means because she has had experience with doing hair styles and hasnt found them that hard, but she has with this one and is expressing that just to warn people that if they are new at doing a fish tail plait its hard even for her with the experience shes had with doing different hair styles?
Calm down. She's probably just reminding people that it can be hard for first timers & but she's showing them it can be achieved.

Thank you sweetie :) I have very long hair and get so tired of wearing it straight, regular side braid or ponytail. I got the hang of it half way through. Instead of putting the crossover piece in the front, I was putting it more towards the back, so basically I was re-crossing the same piece. DUH. Will try again, once my hands stop hurting. lol
