Hi...I am 62 yrs old and you both have inspired me greatly! All of my life I have wanted to do the kind of thing you are doing now, actually to circumvent the USA would be my personal form of "The Dream"..and as I watch you it is possible. I do have a disability but I see I can overcome that if I try hard enough, its a pure joy to see how you...as a couple overcome all hurdles! I went out and bought all the ingredients for your "Chick Pea Salad" recipe (I am a lifetime chick pea fan already) and thats what is for dinner for me tonight. Thanks for all the adventures and should I be able to overcome MY hurdles I hope to be able to meet you two one day and treat you two to the vegan restaurant of your choice for dinner :) God bless you both.....Joe
We can attest to the fact that their pee funnel idea is the best! I think it took us two days to install one after you guys left. We vote you come meet up with us in Central America!
One of your most informative videos yet....you nailed the safety issue, covering up brand names is so spot on. We are super careful about that, I don’t to flash my higher quality electronics when I know that might be worth more than some Mexicans make in a month. Crimes of opportunity can be prevented. When you do come back to Mexico you should interview more people you run across.
Love the content you guys put out and the energy that goes into it! I would like to request a wardrobe tour from Bec as well as what beauty products you decided to keep when transitioning into your tiny home and why :)
COME TO YUCATAN/TULUM!!! I’m from Toronto and just moved here 3 weeks ago to start a business. I have no tv and started checking out van life/skoolie/campervan options for living here, found you guys and you’ve become my night time TV. Also love the minimal millenials and your Hello Mexico series. Much love to you guys! Def try to get down here again...I got parking and a restaurant where chaiwala might be a hit!
Sorry you didn't feel safe in my city of Chicago. I wonder what part of the city you were in. The media makes a lot out of Chicago as well but I've never felt unsafe but maybe it because I'm born and raised here. At any rate, if you come again, let your You Tube family know in advance and we will steer you in the right direction. Chicago really is a beautiful city.
SO so happy I got to meet you guys at the yoga conference! Thanks so much for taking the time to chat with me and be in my vlog!! Coming out soon I hope hehe! Love you guys and keep up the awesome content! Ps thanks for motivating me to get more work done on my youtube channel! I mentioned I have a small following and Bec said that it takes time and that its only small right now it really helped me feel excited about my channel again!! Going to slowly load up my channel with awesome vegan related stuff!
It sure is Refreshingly Awesome, to see the younger generations work hard for the lifestyle they want in their future. Too many people have the idea of entitlement, and it is disgusting. The old saying applies here... Work Hard - Play Hard!!! In 20 years from now, you will be happy, and more importantly...Proud of yourselves, that you stuck together, and earned the lifestyle that you desire, and deserve. Peace-Out!!! Patricia Jacob ☮️🙂
Been watching all your awesome videos! Thanks for sharing your life and im very sorry to hear about your van getting robbed.. I just came across this video and im thankful you guys are shedding light on mexico. I agree 100% with being very careful in Mexico but also knowing that its a beautiful country and not being brainwashed by the media.. sooo key Love from your fellow torontonian
Hey guys....If you guys ever do a 'Livestream', try and link Sergio in there on a split screen. He was a Great Shephard for you guys, and us actually : )
Oh and one thing that really would help you guys--Eamon & Bec is since you own a business there are Visas you can get to spend much longer than 3 months or whatever a tourist Visa allows. My hubs got an FM 3 visa. Check it out at your MX Consulate in Toronto, it's quite easy.
Hey guys! I have watched mmm 65% of yours and the millennials content to date, I recently had an opportunity to pursue vanlife and have decided to explore the west coast. I have been in AK for 18 years, and dying to get out and see some more of the lower 48. If you guys make it to Anchorage Alaska let me know, I'm down to meet up and give you some lowdown on amazing places to stop and see. Happy travels!
We lived in Baja for 3 years which has essentially the same weather as San Diego. We had no heat or AC in out apt. and I doubt you would need it there. Inland MX is probably hotter. Oh and Tijuana is not dangerous at all if you are aware of what's going on around you. It's actually a very interesting city. We lived down the coast a ways but it was awesome and cheap! We made lifetime friends there.
Hey there! Enjoying your vlogs! I live in Todos Santos, in the southern part of Baja. Our high season is November-April. The months of September/October are super hot and humid so you might want to avoid those. The drive down the entire Baja is so beautiful and the people are wonderful. If you need a place to plug in/hang hit me up!
What a treat yalls video was today, love Q and A! Love the relaxed vibe of sitting and chatting. I am looking forward to where ever “we” are going next! Funniest part was when Bec didn’t want to “taste” Eamon’s burp....y’all always have these funny little moments!
I just watched your HOW WELL DO WE KNOW EACH OTHER video from Sept 2015 😂 I think it’s time for you to make another one!! Someone else suggested you make one with the Minimal Millennial’s, that could be fun too. I’d love to know how much closer you’ve become in the last 2 1/2 years and how much better you know each other hahaha!!! Pleeeease 🙏🏻
OMG OMG!! Thank you for answering my Q!!! I am hoping to convince Brian to go down. I have been to Mexico but on Family trip trapped in a resort. We are Vegan too and it was super cool to see you hit Mexico on a PB diet. WHOOP. Cheers.
I die at y’all’s bickering 😂 and seriously so grateful y’all leave those clips in. It’s REAL. And everyone does it! And now I get to laugh at it happening in y’all’s relationship. It’s a good reminder to not take it so seriously in mine too 😊 much love! ❤️
How did you guys start your business? I know you mentioned that Eamon worked as a barista and thought he could make better tea, but I was hoping you guys could maybe talk about starting a business in more depth. Thanks, Erin
Noticed Bec's ring...is that an engagement ring? She did a great job of slipping in an promo for your company with the South American travel question. Glad to see you guys made it back home and all is going well. Stay warm...summer must come there eventually, lol.
a tip for u guys, get a "Alfa Network Wifi Camp Pro 2" this gets u insane wifi range in your van, where u connect to a router that has its own password and security
Being close to someone that has open wifi or using easily breakable WEP security, it's simple to set up a repeat router to close the gap. With a directional or better gain antennas, it's amazing what you can do like this. Any router that can be flashed with tomato,!wrt, or similar can do this wonderfully.
you guys should definitely go down the Baja. It is amazing, Todos Santos is amazing, Cerritos beach is paradise. Next time def jam down the Baja and then ferry over.
Welcome home and I hope it was a great adventure in spite of the Trinity issues. That said, do you have suggestions on parts that a Sprinter owner should have in hand when traveling? I know you can’t take everything, but was there anything that came up in your engine replacement in-terms of Canadian vs. Mexican or US versions of the van that you can share? Thank you for sharing you adventures.
Hey guys. Been watching since just before you guys went to Mexico. I found you through the millennials which are awesome. Just want to say keep up the great videos and I love watching! Liam from Barnsley in England
You felt Chicago was dangerous? I was born and raised here my whole life and I feel like the media only puts the bad parts of Chicago, but it’s a beautiful city. Granted, there are bad neighborhoods, but that’s like any other city. I feel like there’s bad everywhere, it’s just about being aware.
Agree with Steph, born and raised. You are both hypocrites to say Mexico is safe and Chicago is not. You did not travel through the 'bad' parts of Chicago, there is nothing to see there. Chicago is 234 square miles, plenty of 'bad areas but stay near the lake and you are fine which again is where you would travel.
Was robbed 2 out of the 6 times I've visited the city. Don't have anything nice, nor trash, but out of state, young and targeted; was typically in sketchy (imo) places at night so there's that I suppose.. Chicago in comparison to the rest of the world is definitely sketch. (not to mention you can't carry)
Stephanie I just posted the same thing. I feel the same way. Everywhere you go, there is some place that is bad. Just like they are saying people say "Oh be careful in Mexico and Mexico has gotten a bad name", I feel that way about Chicago and the statement they just made, people have made it a crime capital when it is not like that. Oh well....Be aware anywhere you go.
When I was in Mexico I was told by locals to never eat fruit and veg raw that you don’t take the rind off yourself. Like the only salad I ate was from greens from Costco. The reason for this is the water is not clean like you have to drink bottled water ALWAYS. If you wash anything food wise with the water you are NOT cleaning it. I ate many cooked zucchini and carrots lol
Bec what do you think made you so sick while in Mexico. I felt so badly for you.. Pee funnel moment was Eamon filming you from a distance that made me laugh and know my wife would have killed me for that. LOL
Hmm, not sure! We had had some street tacos the night before and that could've been the culprit... I'm sure that the stress of everything did not help with my immunity and I guess I just got knocked down!?
What app did you use for locating shower facilities?? I think I remember you saying in one of the vids it was out of date but I had no idea there even was one
We have never felt scared in Mexico. We were truly scared me Jamaica. How did you cover the cannon brand name on your cameras. What size lens do y’all use to do these close up vlogs in tight quarters like your van? We just got a new camera to vlog with and the two lenses it came with are not great for close up vlog. We are learning as we go.
Y'all should definitely stop in San Francisco. Spent a week there recently and van life is insanely popular out there. Lots of places to park overnight, parks with picnic tables and grills to use for free, beaches to park at overnight, etc. Such a phenomenal place with amazing people, and I'm actually going to be buying a boat and moving there in the fall. 10/10 recommend!
lol Thanks for speaking so beautifully of my country! ❤ Also just wanted to add Bec said it right tortilleria it would be pronounced tor-tea-ye-ria lol
I would imagine saying "right through the bottom" means the pee goes straight on the ground. If the tube went closer the the engine, you could always tell people it's your condenser or a coolant leak LOL
i enjoy your videos - moving into a camper van soon with my husband and your videos get us excited about our next adventure. i have traveled very extensively and i am also a black woman. both you and minimal millenials have given a lot of lip service to the safety concerns you and your families had before going to mexico. i challenge you on this because you all do seem thoughtful (and, this isn't a waste of my energy)...really *implore* you to question the implicit racia/ethnic (yes, yes racial - this shit is ugly) biases behind this lip service AND question the composition of your OWN networks (sure, we all have a POC friend from uni / work, etc)...but, like, really hold a mirror to your networks and who you choose to listen to.
Good luck at your convention, how long you going to grow your hair E? never see u in a hat..I dont look right in hats so I wear a ponytail or bandana to keep under control some
What about beyond meat , have you seen it here in Canada, I’m here Ont too but small town . Die’n for a good burger I’ll be out west all summer too 🤙 maybe show u some free hot springs or how to pan for some gold
I love that you show yourselves getting annoyed at each other/bickering just seems somuch more real compared to other channels.
Thanks love! Our goal here is to share as openly and transparently as we can. Thanks for being along for our journey XX
I love how you guys don't edit out the bantering parts. It keeps you real!
Thank you!!
It cracks me up!!! I love it.
Go for it Joe, you are never too old for adventures.
Do a video on Safety precautions to take in van life anywhere
We can attest to the fact that their pee funnel idea is the best! I think it took us two days to install one after you guys left.
We vote you come meet up with us in Central America!
Ps bring the millennials with you!
Hahah yes pee funnel for the win!! Central America is in the cards for January -- April of 2019 ❤️☺️
At the rate we're moving I can definitely still see us being down there then!
One of your most informative videos yet....you nailed the safety issue, covering up brand names is so spot on. I would LOVE to visit Alaska!!
Love the content you guys put out and the energy that goes into it! I would like to request a wardrobe tour from Bec as well as what beauty products you decided to keep when transitioning into your tiny home and why :)
Thanks for the kind words Abby! Both of those videos are on my list of things to film in the near future :)
When I lived in a van before kids- I as a lady went #1 in a Nalgene bottle. It was easy to take into a restroom.
COME TO YUCATAN/TULUM!!!

Great channel for so many reasons. You have a driveway and plug on the MS Gulf Coast anytime!
You two look so happy! Keep inspiring! Hugs!!

Stephanie i was gunna say the same thing!!!! mexico is no safer than chicago!!!
I had the same reaction. Lived in Chicago for 9 years and love it.

Really like your videos. My gf lives with me in the van. It's interesting and inspiring to see how you live and run your business out of your van.
Well, you had some stress alright! Glad you bounced back as fast as possible. I might have folded like bad poker hand.
For sure do west coast of Canada and down through the states!! Pacific coast trail is where it's at!!
Love your videos. Such a sweet couple😀keep safe guys!
How long did it take Eamon to grow out his awesome hair?
Love you guys!
Hahahaha I love the pee funnel, great idea! I saw someone do something similar with their grey water
Always perfect video.Have a bless day Love you guy's
you guys need to come to LONDON ONT :D so close to Toronto and we always have great summer festivals !
We both actually went to school in London so we are familiar with the city!!
I'm wondering about that replacement engine... Did you have a proper mechanic look at it?
What app did you use for locating shower facilities?? I think I remember you saying in one of the vids it was out of date but I had no idea there even was one
Love the video all your videos are the best lots of love from Georgia.
Christina Rose awe thank you Christina!! Sending lots of love right back at you!
Very nice. Thanks for sharing.
I wish you lots of success at the shows! Very interesting video :)
I am wondering if your friends sold enough Merch to cover the cost of your new engine?
We have never felt scared in Mexico. We were truly scared me Jamaica. How did you cover the cannon brand name on your cameras. Thanks for speaking so beautifully of my country! ❤
Also just wanted to add Bec said it right tortilleria it would be pronounced tor-tea-ye-ria lol
I love you guys, I just have one question where does the urine go? A container or on the ground. Peace & Love
I would imagine saying "right through the bottom" means the pee goes straight on the ground. If the tube went closer the the engine, you could always tell people it's your condenser or a coolant leak LOL
Ladypsplace these idiots ,the best they could come up with is peeing on the ground. I guess that isn't self centered if your a vegan.
Did Bec just slip out a possible certain activity in the summer? ;)
Hope you, didn’t have a problem driving through the ice storm this weekend?
I’d love to see more videos about your business!
i enjoy your videos - moving into a camper van soon with my husband and your videos get us excited about our next adventure. i have traveled very extensively and i am also a black woman. both you and minimal millenials have given a lot of lip service to the safety concerns you and your families had before going to mexico. i challenge you on this because you all do seem thoughtful (and, this isn't a waste of my energy)...really *implore* you to question the implicit racia/ethnic (yes, yes racial - this shit is ugly) biases behind this lip service AND question the composition of your OWN networks (sure, we all have a POC friend from uni / work, etc)...but, like, really hold a mirror to your networks and who you choose to listen to.
What route did you take into Mexico?
love the video as always guys! bec, wheres your channel/segment?? can't wait for blurbs with bec (or whatever name you landed on)!!
William Raudien does a bang up job of videos in Mexico. Love yours too! Where do you get a pee funnel....please do share.
William Taudien..Sweedish guy.
Is this about the trip where Trinity was sick in the beginning?
Where did you buy that funnel? Better than mine...want one...:)
How much money did you save before starting van life?
