- Hello! I wrote this song this past Summer and recorded this video in July. It has been a while since then! The reason my face might look like it's in pain the whole time is just because I was focusing on getting everything right since I was not happy with the other recordings I did.

This is a beautiful song. I can definitely relate to having the fantasy of someone in your mind, and how that brings you both comfort in knowing that someone will come, but loneliness in that it’s not now(that’s how I read it, anyways). That’s certainly something I have to tell myself, not to rush into things and be patient.

It's a combination of a lot of things: having a general fantasy of a romantic partner and romantic experiences or knowing of someone but not knowing them personally and wanting to... Mostly it's about trying to remind myself that there is someone (probably many people) out there who likes what I like and wants what I want, they're just not right in front of me right now but hopefully someday!
