What's better the Thunderbird or the challenging jake or do they sound the same. Thank you

The Thunderbird is a bit more higher pitched, which is good for cutting through the wind and comes with a silencer cap on it. The Challenging Jake has a deeper tone and does not come with a silencer cap. Both will get the job done!

if a gobbler is being stubborn and won’t come in but gobbling could i do a yelp call then follow it up with this and will it strike the attention of the gobbler and bring him in?

That is exactly what we do when a gobbler is being stubborn. No guarantee that it will always work, but we have had it work before when nothing else would.
