Great walk around! Your videos on the Bruin adventures definitely influenced my decision to go ahead and get one last year. I couldn’t be happier with my ORU camper.
Well done, good intro to this Bruin XL. I'm wondering, on a mid-size truck, how wide east to west is the sleeping area. I'm curious if at 5 ft 10 if I could sleep East to West in a Colorado sized truck.
Thank you! As the Oru team explained it to us that sleeping area is a proper Queen sized mattress when used east to west without the extension over the truck bed. With the extension you can use a King size mattress. The XL won't change in width between mid-size and full size (just overall bed length). So yes, your plan would be perfectly practical!
Wow! will the back corner panels...accept...a Dickinson...fireplace Heater?.....& electrical..panel..for propane tanks..& rooftop Solar panels..for self 'Efficiency'? cheers...is there a Canadian 'outlet'..in Souther Ontario Canada to do installations'?? Cheers!
I really like the wide footprint as well as the hard sides. But having a translucent plastic roof is weird to me. How do you guys like the constant light? Have you used it in a hot desert where shade is your friend. I'm on the fence on a purchase due to that one feature. Any advice?
Great question! Heat transfer really isn't a concern since the white reflects most of it. When parked in the sun the interior of our truck actually gets hotter than the camper. The only real concern is in the morning when the sun comes up and you want to sleep in. For us that's a worthy tradeoff since the translucence makes the space feel light and airy through the rest of the day without the need for electric lights. Hope that helps! ☺
Hi Red Ronin, we are not affiliated with Oru, just fans of the company! I'm sure their sales team would be happy to talk to you about the potential to sell in Germany.
Hi there, we actually just purchased an Auxbeam switch panel and plan on installing it soon and might be interested in evaluating a pair of round driving lights alongside the switch panel. Just please note that the value of our reviews is based on our honest impressions of the products that we test, so we can't guarantee positive coverage. With that in mind if you would still like to work with us the best contact method would be to fill out the form at western-wild.com/contact Thanks!
@@Western-Wild OK Sure! We're definitely understand your concern on a honest opinion. And we definitely open to your idea. We'll fill in form and hopefully could hear from you!
@@joeys7519 it will probably be around 2-3mpg. With our regular Bruin the drop is minimal if we stay under 70… going over we have a 1-2 mpg. Hope that helps!

Those sure look nice! Thanks for the tour.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Liked the Tune for the size and the bruin for the hardwalls so this is perfect.
Yup, they did a great job of expanding the Bruin concept!

I have a jeep gladiator?? and weight. and how much does it cost . I am interested
Yup, they make them for pretty much any bed. Base weight is 450lbs and the starting price is $10,500, which is less than the Project M or Tune M1.
Hi Do you interested in adding some LED upgrade to your rig? We hope to do some sponsorship with you!

The demo truck is a 6.5 bed but they will make them to fit most sizes.
