honestly they should give a better character creator if they're gonna charge to change the pirate. (luckily, my cosmetics don't show any skin so I just had to care about the body type)

149 ancient coins is the least amount of ancient coins that you can get from an ancient coin skeleton. If you happen to find and kill one of these skellies the potion is essentially free.
I made a promise, when they add a new island to the main map (not in the sea of the damned, it means it's explorable in the sandbox) I would change my character. I think the monkey island update could bring new islands to the map, I don't want to change it because the options that the game gives me never convince me but I'll have to do it anyway, I'd rather customize it I hope I rare add that soon
The odds of them adding new islands on to the existing map are slim. Anything more they add is only going to add more lag to an already lagging server. That's why they're adding things on separate servers. But if you don't want to change your character, just don't

You can sometimes earn ancient coins from fof, you’ll hear a skeleton covered in them and once killed he drops a single bag of the ancient coins that you can then use in the emporium
@ismael8926 FoF is Fort of Fortunes, it's a world event players have to start by collecting all lantern flame colours and a ritual skull, alternatively you can use a skull of destiny which you can only get through a dive voyage
During creation I spent like 2h until I got my 5 good looking favorite characters, Ithought I can switch and play with all of them, so I got 3 female pirates and after I was done I just clicked the last one I made, it was a fat black girl who looked like some drunk chef. When the game started I couldn't believe that all of my fav characters were deleted and in the end I got to play with fat drunk woman! I was so furious and luckily I deleted my character at the very beginning and spend one more hour looking for a new one 😂
Bought one when it was on sale and havent used it now i have to decline it each time I log in until i want to use it, dont buy the potion unless you are going to use it right after
I like changing appearances a lot but don't because it resets all emotes and it's annoying to reassign them on the wheels. Anyone who does change their appearance. Can you let me know if it still resets the emote wheels.
@@phogothgaming8151 Uh, iirc I remembered where it was and it's actually now just a potion you can like drink that is sitting on a table/desk next to one of the typical vendors on the outposts. I can't remmeber which vendor though and the potion was quite small.
Getting ancient coins is difficult later on but when you just started and you want to do voyages then you will have a higher chance and also a higher chance of you just wait for one to spawn no need to spend no monehhh on a potion you can get easily from your first ancient skeleton kill 😅 and it’s nice that it’s cheap and not like 899 ancient coins

You don't need to pay real money, there are multiple free ways to get those coins. Either by killing ancient golden skeletons or by progressing through the free season pass. It's actually quite easy to get 149
No, anything you've purchased from the pirate emporium will remain as it was purchased with real money. It would be a waste of money if that was the case.

How do you get the pirate appearance potion? I went to the pirate emporium from the main menu, then the Pirate tab, and scrolled through 35 pages but I don't see it
it's in there somewhere among all the other paid cosmetics (I think page 3 or something).. they really ought to add better sorting options or a way to search for things that you're looking for..
@@Froztility sure you can. I've farmed it 100s of times. The ancient coin skele will not spawn on the island past 15 minutes. Constant island hopping and waiting (I do fishing) and I hear the skele pop up at least once a week
nope, either take out the option to change your character entirely, or let everyone do it for free, this in between shit is just greedy and frustrating to the consumers. you shouldn't have to pay for what should be a default menu option. each ship skin bundle is already pushing $40, why do this to people?

Yeah your lucky I had to take in body type, skin colour, face shape, features (don't like them over scarred for example), age (some look 90) etc.

If you use a Pirate Appearance potion, you keep everything you've unlocked already. If you delete pirate, you lose everything.

You'll never get your own choice of individual characteristics. You have to choose from what the game renders for you.
