Convict Lake & Mammoth Lakes, California (S1/E7)

This flying trip took us to Mammoth Lakes, California. Fortunately this time there was time to visit and venture. On this blue-sky October morning I was looking on the map and Convict Lake was a name that drew my attention. With a trash bag, gloves and trash grabber in the trunk of the rental car, I drove up to the Lake. Whilst driving through Mammoth Town all the way up to Convict Lake, I didn't see more then 3 pieces of trash.. And this is what was on my agenda: trash pickup anywhere I would find it. Convict Lake has a cool history and a gorgeous hiking trail all around the Lake. It's the season of trout fishing. All day I only picked up 1 trash piece, and I didn't't even get this on camera. Not worth it.
Conclusion: No Trash to be found in the Mammoth Lakes area. This made my heart dance! This is how it should be.
