Tom Speaks
Shaq: he’s given us what we need to hear
Dax sings
Shaq: What are thosssssse
DONT CRY I’m literally screaming 🤣🤣🤣
DONT CRY Shaq made his comment about Dax’s boots before Dax said anything. I get the joke tho and it’s still kinda funny
DONT CRY hahahahaha
DONT CRY 🤣🤣🤣
I have 3 kids. My oldest wants to be an artist, my son wants to be a paleontologist and my 5 year old wants to be a Princess lol
It's gonna change alot by the time the time they turn 18 best i can do is say keep pressing ur child to pursue the ideas and possible careers they have already been intrested in
That's beautiful!
The dislikes are Dax’s different accounts cause he was talkin bout his boots
Lol
Or people pissed with all the extra ads
Does Shaq make music??
The dislikes are from people who know real music
Blurryface the song was true but kinda trash lol
„Tom is not making music we wanna hear, he is making music we need to hear.“
How can you not see the total bs in all of this? How can shaq say “this is what we need” but 99% of his videos are pushing the songs that Tom is talking about
Not to mention, this dude Tom literally has about 15 women under dressed in every video, it’s literally a complete money grab
@@talkinggoat1974 and that's why Tom Mcdonald is loved because many knows the truth hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
@@lancesanchez6166 bro what
@@talkinggoat1974 Look at the cute lil hater trying too hard.
Yeah, keep trying dawg. People who have followed Tom and gotten to know the man know you are full of shit. 🤣
For real though, Tom's conviction in every word he says in this legitimately gives me goosebumps every time I hear them.
Sad thing is most these rappers dont even live the life they rap out... they just fake industry puppets. Tom is a real one and Im so glad Dax saw the error of his ways and changed. We need to wake up and leave this world a good place for our children. Thank you Tom and Dax for being real yalls music is powerful and can move mountains. More and more people seem to be waking up andits because of people like you... much love from Tx...hope everyone is being safe.. love you all..🤘💚🤘
agreed, but some people really do be living that life
@silent Jay yo lol I changed my mind haha don't listen to myself 4 months ago
Pretty sure dax was this way from the beginning. He did what he did on purpose. And it was smart.
That was the most ironic comment I’ve ever seen
“Most of these rappers don’t live the life they claim, but Tom is real” everything this song says is bad I can find in Toms own music and videos, you’re so blind
"You gotta make timeless music." - this one really got me.
I'm glad I saw your comment, because I thought he said "You gotta make Tom this music" and I didn't understand wtf he meant. Thank you
My ad for this video was the music video for “Blame the Rappers” lmaoooo

Same.. lol

People has got to see the bigger picture like SHAQ said hip hop is a art not a way to drive kids to pills or jail
CHILDISH_ GAMEBINO Agreed. The problem is the famous rappers that I don’t feel like actually respect the craft.
Jaffacus facts 🙏🏻
Jaffacus I see where you’re coming from. Hip hop is based on telling stories, life experiences, and sending messages. is metal like that too?
Harveer Bhinder I don’t get it
@childish_gamebino Brehhh, I Thought Somebody Was Spreading Booty Cheeks Apart In Your Profile Pic. I Need To Stay Off XVids 🤣🤣🤣
Reading the comments on "blame the rappers" made me sad then i watch you and you just point out the things that we need to notice thank you bro love ya
I've been saying this for years. I'm go glad someone is finally saying it. Hopefully people will listen. Doubt it, but there is some kind of hope. Amazing song.

People..... please stop letting other think for you. The "PARENTS" need to be parents. Don't let your child run around with your phone, don't give them internet permission or access to adult content, don't let them watch Rated-R movies. I understand they may go to a friend's house and view something here or there, and they also have/had school where they see and hear things. Don't do drugs or drink in front of your children. Don't promote violence etc etc etc. I've listened to rap all my life and I'm pushing 40. I didn't grow up to be a degenerate. Stop blaming others for you not being parents. If your daughter wants to be a stripper, your fault. If your children want to be gang-bangers.....your fault. No one ever said parenting was easy. It takes more than just giving them food and sending off to school and bed. If you're influenced by entertainment, you're fueling their cause, you're not *WOKE* at all, you're a sheep, you follow the transcript they've written to the people. Be WOKE and be a parent. Stop blaming other. Sorry Shaq, but this song is horrible. I get the message they're trying to put out there, but the message is for weak minded people who can't think for themselves.
Brandon Hall the song is horrible. Many of Tom’s chorus’ suck including this one!
@@pamelaconnelly5357 It wasn't just the chorus that bothered me. It was the overall message that they are trying to say its the rappers fault for the entertainment they make. Im pretty sure the Government put parental advisory labels on explicit content movies, cds, games etc etc. And these kids are either not being watched or properly raised, and just as many other Americans, they are looking for someone else to blame so they have to take accountability for their lack of actions. Again, I understand its difficult being a parent, I myself am a parent of 4. Don't live in the nicest part of town. However, my internet content is blocked properly according to age. I don't let my children watch Rated-R movies. They don't use my cell phone for their homework, and though I can't control their friends and relationships at school, I can give them the best advice possible when I notice things that can be dangerous or inappropriate to them. I can explain my reasonings to them and why or why I do not choose for them to watch or listen to content. I will explain why they shouldn't hang out with other certain children and why it is that they can or can't go to other peoples houses. I keep a careful watch over them, and though I know I can't protect them from everything, I can do my best to make sure they are held accountable for their actions when they grow up, and im not going to *BLAME THE RAPPERS.* No. They will only have themselves to blame, and take accountability for their words and actions. See where they made their mistakes, learn from them, and get back up, fix the problem and hold their heads high because they did it and they fixed it. They're not going to be lazy and blame someone else for their problems. And for anyone who does blame others, you should be ashamed of yourself. Get it together and quit letting others dictate your life. If you make the wrong decision, that's on you. And these artists that keep making music like this, they should take a look in the mirror also. Quit giving these parents and children a way out of their problems. Its not your fault and you know it. They are to blame. If you're a prostitute, that's you're fault. If you like nodding out on the couch instead of partaking in a family dinner, that's your fault. And if you think that lifestyle is cool, you probably should have listened more in school, or to your parents or grandparents, aunts or uncles. You hypocritical bums.
Brandon Hall sorry it has taken me so long to reply (unexpected death in my family). I agree with your point to not blame music or whatever media source for choices people make. Absolutely parents are key - unfortunately we have many people that are not good parents. Forget the reasons( or excuses ) as to why people are not good parents - the reality is that a lot of children, teens and young adults lack parental role models. They will learn from what they see and hear because they (by no fault of their own) lack consistent parental figures. I am an elementary school teacher and can honestly say that less than 60% of my students (this might be a generous #) have decent support at home. I have 22 students. I myself grew up with good parenting but I still developed a self esteem problem when looking at models or actresses and feeling totally inadequate. I didn’t share those feelings with my parents or they would have tried to help me realize that I didn’t need to compare myself. However I didn’t run around blaming the industry. Even with kids Halloween and adult it is crazily seductive. WTF is wrong with an industry that puts out suggestive clothing for little girls and then idiot adults buy it!? What is wrong with people? Why do my 5 & 6 year old students know what GTA is? Or years earlier South Park? I have 5 years olds singing very inappropriate songs and all this goes to your point that it is the parents and yes it is!!! However why are drugs ( alcohol included) guns and sex so prevalent in many genres of music? Dang country music focuses on drinking and cheating and shooting your lover. Society glorifies drinking. You aren’t successful or happy or social if you are out having a drink with sexy men and women. So yes it absolutely begins at home with the parents but why punish the children that are not lucky enough to have a parent like you? I love many genres of music and I am older so I remember when rap was up and coming. Back then hard rock and heavy metal were the bad guys ( never country though with all its whiny beer drinking wife beating bull). We have lost family values too many people being careless and selfish having unprotected sex and having children that that can’t/won’t take care of and honestly probably don’t really want. Females lie about being on birth control guys complain that the condom doesn’t fit, men and women complain that it feels better without a condom. Their 20-40 minutes of selfishness can create actual human beings into this world that need to be loved and nurtured not exposed to GTA and lil Wayne or the batchelor or jersey shore
This is the first song I haven’t heard Dax say : ITS DAX!

Hey Shaq how you been oh, I haven't really been on UA-cam and while but glad something made me come on today and I'm so glad that I listen to you and I'm listening to Tom MacDonald because this song hits home in 2019 I lost two brothers I think I told you before and 14 years ago I could have died from doing Oxys that doctors prescribe me I really never told anybody that cuz I was so embarrassed, and you show right, cuz he's been through it and only someone who's been through it would really know, in the beginning it might be fun but believe me by the time you're done you're only doing it because you have to imagine crying it's still taking a pill because if you don't you'll be deathly ill sick cuz that's what these doctors do the people that's my story old is a lot more but and these kids just don't understand it's not fun and most of them died I was just lucky thank God I have 14 years sober don't believe me it was God, just a little sharing sry if you take this offensively anybody call nobody speak in truth so much truth God bless that man yes everyone protect him at all cost Mia
I honestly wouldn’t mind this song if it was presented in a way that isn’t corny as hell
Just Call Me Brad Same 😂😂
Dude fuck that its a strong message
hall of james yeah but the hook is terrible and Tom and Dax are just throwing the obvious at our faces. We know a lot of rappers today don’t use their influence properly. Other rappers have executed this concept 50x better
You should listen to exposure by tom macdonald. It has the same concept but it's not as corny and the hook isnt as wack
Love your reactions bro, keep it fam!
PSA: Spread the message. EVERYBODY has a song that gets them hype. EVERYBODY has a song that pulls them through. EVERYBODY has that genre they could listen to all day everyday. EVERYBODY has ( be it small or be it large) a connection to music. I am a witness to this concept being all too real (smaller children being influenced by pop culture)And whether they realize it or not, it has an effect on them mentally, even subtly over time.I am an audiophile/musician so naturally I have such an opinion, but even those that don’t connect with music on a somewhat spiritual level are heavily influenced. I am also on the top end of “gen z” and despise ALL of us being talked down upon for that majority that are influenced this way. Spread the word if not for my generation, for the next. God Bless👊

Yeah i think the problem is people are too easily influenced either for social media clout or just in general. You don't have to live the song that you're listening too. Of course that's just my opinion.

Devil’s advocate here - you’re more than welcome to love this song and support its message. But this channel has given positive reactions (and thus, free publicity) to songs that contain some of the same exact toxic content that he mentions in this song.
I mean a few days ago you reacted quite positively to MGK’s “Smoke and Drive”, a song about smoking weed while driving impaired (which is still illegal and irresponsible even in California and other states where it’s legal to buy it and smoke it). I understand weed is decriminalized in most states now, and it’s not like it’s heroin or something, but it’s still not a “positive” message - it’s frivolous bullshit.
Smoke and drive is a banger, I agree, but I feel it would be irresponsible to not at least point out the hypocrisy.
Jeff Brown Word. I was thinking something similar when watching this vid. There’s always been glorifying drugs and video girls in hip-hop, and, there’s always been conscious rap or “woke” rap as well. (Funny bcuz I was JUST listening to Lupe Fiasco yesterday!). There’s always been a balance. I think it’s gotten out of hand because the accessibility/opportunities have expanded. Years ago you would blow up or get noticed through radio or television, and you had to go through labels and mainstream media. And there’s a balance of hip-hop, rap, rock music, r&b and more genres in this process. It was a mix. Today I feel like because of social media anybody can get noticed, which is great, but there’s no diversity. The drug and party music is hella popular and always will be because we all go through that rebellious teenager type phase, but it’s not the responsibility of the rappers. If somebody wanted to listen to mumble rap or party music all day everyday, it’s there. That’s something the culture didn’t have before the internet. Just sayin! ✌️
Yeah totally agree. It's also kinda creepy to me when Shaq throws an absolute fit over a girl's ass in a thong and starts shouting, we like those. Then he gets on this track talking about this is what we need to hear.... Come on Shaq. Be as good as Tom and Dax bro!
