Dougie Gemmell Even more kudos to you that you have self taught yourself. you have a fantastic ear for music. I wonder if you could share your base selections, I could then try and convert into sheet music, which I would happily send to you to commemorate your arrangement.
Hi there, Yes It's an Elkavox 83 double Cassotto reeds and fitted with midi. I did away with the electronics by getting shot of the generator because it was forever letting me down, plus the fact that the sounds on the elka weren't that good. I play it through a Technics AC-30 PCM. I've had this for over 20 years now, and use a Soundcraft Powerstation 600w powered mixer desk with Lexicon reverb as amplification.
Hi Charles, Thank you. Yes it seems to be the same (after looking at one on UA-cam, because I hadn't a clue what a Lorio "H" was!!). But I did away with the Elkavox electronics because of the Generator letting me down again and again. Now I just use a Midi expander. Problem free! Plus the sounds on the Elkavox are very dated. Have a listen to the Dark Island I recorded in the studio. (Much better!!) Cheers!
Dougie Gemmell I disagree. I must account for well over a thousand of these views now, I listen to it twice in a row most times. I'm serious. This version is by far the best I got a few seconds into the other and instantly hated the fadey clipping and attack on the notes... I love this version and hope to see it live sometime on an old accordion.
Hiya I am making a website for seal shore camping in Kildonan on the Isle of Arran - he would love to use your Dark Isle music for the background and would credit you - I'm sure you could go for a weeks camping! Would that be OK? Thanks Zabdi

Lovely rendition and fantastically played.
I'd love to know if there is a sheet music version that you followed, so I could try and emulate
Thanks for your comment Mark. I don't have the music for this as I can't read music, and I'm self taught. Double Dutch to me all those dots!

Mark Flanagan Thanks again! Yes, that sounds great! How do you want me to do this? Email? Facebook? Let me know and I'll gladly do it.

Is this Accordion fitted with Midi and is it an Elkavox 83 or an F3.

Good but not inspiring .......... If there was passion ....... It was wasted
Constructive criticism at it's very best
