In this video, We take Brooke down memory lane to visit Indian Rocks Beach (Where she grew up!) we will show where the locals hang out. We’ll show Guppies restaurant, best dive bar in town, called Mahuffers Bar, Crabby Bills, best Ice Cream shop in town with 140 flavors. We will also go to Island Surf Shop, Jimmy Iguanas, Holiday Inn Suits, a beautiful Mangrove Boardwalk, and of course the stunning beach known as Indian Rocks Beach. I hope you enjoy this beach town as much as we do.
My wife and I have been coming IRB for the last six years ( spring and fall) we love it. What a great place to just get away.
I love going to Mahuffers
I'm treating myself to a FL vaca going solo to spend time with God and refocus. I found a cute cottage on IRB.. so looking forward to the quiet and then will be traveling around FL to see nature parks. Thanks for sharing this. ❤
Wishing you the best. God bless
Mauhauffers was there in the 70's when I lived there and the Candy kitchen was my college job ! lol !
Well done! 👏👏👏
Thank you
Great video!
Hello SouthernYank's! Thanks for this video! My wife, two adult kids and their husbands and I will roll down there end of March '24! We look forward to checking out some of the places you reco'ed. Ciao!
Hey Guys! I want to move there from Orlando. I'd be moving by myself no kids or family. I'd like to find a luxury apartment to rent but when I search online it looks like there are no new construction apartments around Indian rocks? Can you tell me if you see any in your travels around?
My last 4 cities I lived were all major tourists towns and I know Indian rocks is quieter and calm so I don't want to look in Tampa unless I have to. Any advice please share!! Great Video too ♥️♥️♥️
You won’t regret moving to IRB! It is definitely a quieter beach although has gotten more touristy in the past several years. Pinellas county is almost completely built out and any newer construction would be more like renovated older buildings. Maybe look for renovated condos ect or apartments. I grew up in Shipwatch condo complex right on the IRB bridge. Def not new construction but a good investment
@@southernyankee870 it is exactly my style. I used to live on Catalina Island and it has a laid back vibe like that! I definitely could not afford to buy but if not Indian rocks what do you think of Largo? I know it's a lot different but still less crowded then other parts of Tampa? I have always loved the Luxury apartment units, please let me know if any of your friends can spot any new construction as close as possible to Indian Shores/Indian rocks. It would mean so much to have some local help.
♥️
Helpful video! I'm trying to figure out if I need to rent a car at IRB...any ideas? Thanks!
Hi there so TIA and PIE airports are about 45 min and 25 min from the beach respectively. Having a car would be nice but totally not necessary as Uber and Lyft are good on the beach. Plus parking is not always easy to find on any nearby beach. Have fun on your trip!
You also have the trolly system. I been here for 25 yrs.
My question is why did you leave??
Good question. Left in early 2000’s for Work and school. Trust me I didn’t want to:-)
