Vitara Brezza is one of the most VFM sub 4 meter compact SUV out there at the moment. I have test driven it myself along with EcoSport & Baleno and must give you the pros and cons before purchasing this car. Pros : High speed stability even cruising above 100 km/hr with adequate performance in this segment. Good Road Dynamics & acceleration over the EcoSport. Great Exteriors (Option of Dual-Tone colors on the ZDI+ Variant). Very good Fuel efficiency (24 kmpl claimed) Pretty good job on the suspensions. Feels good even on rough roads. Plenty of head room & space in the interiors. Cons : No petrol variants. Sluggish DDiS engine (1.3L) - Turbo lag experienced below 2000 RPM. Interior-quality below average. The steering wheel could have a got a basic-leather covering. No under thigh support for rear-passengers. No rear AC vents. Verdict : Best pricing by Maruti and this is going to cross huge numbers, especially in the Indian-market. Maruti has worked hard on building the Vitara Brezza. The competition is tough and all three are well-established rivals. Pricing is very aggressive, which tilts things in favor of the Brezza, but the recent price cuts witnessed by the EcoSport negates that advantage. Would also request you to check out the new BR-V and TAXA Nexon which aims to draw its customers with its aggressive design & pricing.
I fell in love with Vittara Brezza after I saw this.... Very well presented.... I was convinced to go for a Brezza only because of this... Thanku Autocar for solving my confusion....
Just checked the car in showroom, it's look like a bigger hatchback but definitely not a compact suv. Having said that it looks nice, I would say better then ecosport. Feels proportionate for all angles, unlike ecosport which feels a bit weird with sparewheel hanging at the rear. But built quality and safety ecosport any day. Cabin space and seats are much comfortable then ecosport. If brezza had automatic I would prefer it over ecosport. Top variant almost 12 lac on road in Mumbai. So which is a better car, I am of the opinion always go for the latest model because the new product is always well researched considering all the previous models.
I have driven it for 14000km , and am sharing the pros and cons pros: 1- Dynamics 2- Value for money cons: 1- Swift ka engine 2- Quality- Windows and infotainment system rattle on even smallest of potholes.
how is the cooling system especially in the summer the maruti cars lake in this field i have a swift and i don't feel the ac is on in summer its terrible what about the breeza its not mentioned any where about the cooling in any of the reviews
I think this will rock the market. And the main competitors will be the ecosport & creta.Since it suzuki,we can trust the after sales service comparing with the ford and the much high priced hyundai.
Should I buy Scross or Brezza [both Diesel]? Both have 1253cc engine. Scross has hybrid power extra. Which should I go for? Or any other car in this segment with +-1L?
kindly do a comparison test of baleno and brezza. I know they both are of different class but since there is not much difference in their pricing , so I hope you guys do the comparison soon.
The real world often dislodges misplaced skepticism...heavily booked vehicle now with the waiting period up to 10 months!! one of their best offering along with Baleno!! It'll definitely be the segment leader once the petrol engine comes in.
When will Brezza, automatic come? Maruti is almost reckless to respond to this customer expectation. Do you think it is better to go for the jazz Automatic, instead of waiting for ever?
Impressive Review.. And Maruti has finally managed to make a decently good compact suv. Few questions ? With no rear ac vents, how effective is the ac ? Does it come in petrol? What is the size of the fuel tank ? How frugal is it ? What is the quality of plastic on the interiors ? Is the centre console from the Baleno or Kwid ? I know that the ABS technology is expensive but I feel it should be made mandatory on all the versions ?
are you sure about the daytime running lights.. its jus normal led pilot lamps and not dlr. pls confirm. its not mentioned anywhere in the brochure its a dlr.
Hello! everyone; I'm confused between Vitara brezza & S cross. my usage is mostly for intercity (highway rides) and which is almost rough road which is full of potholes. I want to know which one will be better considering bad roads.
the reason to go for Breza is that there is no other option for mid-suv. Cheap Korean Creta, Bulky Duster, Eco Sport which is slightly bigger than Alto, desi Tata or Mahindra which are not so great.
If you are looking for Suv(looks wise) go for brezza else performance wise then dzire. I booked Brezza recently cause I have to drive on a hilly road frequently and brezza has nice ground clearance and features as well.
+Arjun Das . My Baleno Alpha is super. Just returned after a long trip in the hills of Uttarakhand. The car performed like a dream. The handing, power is perfectly balanced. Had to wait 3 months to get it - worth the weight. NEXA is terrible. MS should persist with their existing showrooms.
Solid Bull Like looks, squared wheel Arches is a plus .. very aggressive pricing for lower variants. But was expecting more from the ZDI Variant .. after spending 10+ lakhs .. no backside AC Vents, Less Legroom space doors and dashboard plastic not impressive and finally the steering wheel could have been much better with a new design.
Yes, not long ago in indonesia, suzuki displayed the brezza (imported from india). It will go on sale on early 2017 in the archipelago. Of course with a petrol engine. According the spec sheet, it will come with 1.5L m15a suzuki legendary engine (with higher compression of 11). The same engine that powered S-cross that availavle in the country today.
First vitara is build from hardcore offroader to a city dwelling suv, now this from rugged concept to a smaller speed bump scraping suv, what the hell man?
maruti should have brought the international selling grand vitara updated 2015 model as well . it is quite a looker as well.the thing being the original grand vitara was pricer almost 20 lac and came with a petrol only engine, but the international selling grand vitara could have done with more localization and pitched at the hyuandai creta price.the international variant also has a great design and also has a soft offroader awd version as well, hope maruti brings in this version as well as to india........
Better in pricing and outdoor looks than creta. With the dual tone some colours create magic and the best part about Breeze top model is around 11lakhs on road Delhi.

if u want a powerful car , then go for s cross with 1.6 l engine , if u want better looks then go for brezza . brezza will also be launched with 1.6 l engine
only Suzuki, Chevrolet, Hyundai cars are economical to buy in India, mileage giving cars and low maintenance, rough & tough cars, and customer trust able brands.
Maruti is good for mileage and low cost of maintenance but the quality is worst. Hyundai gives you good interior & exterior looks and also good quality at a price slightly higher than Maruti. Ford and Honda make good engines which give you best combination of power and mileage.. I think the S-cross is much better than Brezza, but Brezza will sell a lot in India just like their Swift and Dzire which are not at all good cars in the market NOW, as they used to be 2 years back
Why dear what happened to swift?? Swift is a very good option in both variants of petrol and diesel Coming Quality even Suzuki also gives a good quality in its cars not like mahindra and tata. Ford cars have good engine but its maintenance is more specially for every car. Coming to swift is good car then i20 but when you see VW polo both are nothing.
Hussain Ali Brother, i20 is a segment above Swift. Swift can be compared with Grand i10. Dzire is not a suitable car in current market because its gets beaten by Baleno from the same manufacturer. There is no problem with Swift and Dzire but both these cars need an update as they feel outdated when compared to their competitors. Both these cars have very less cabin and boot space. Both these cars need a touch screen infotainment system. Both these cars should provide atleast Driver side Airbag as standard in all variants. Other cars in the same segment are giving a lot of more features when compared to these 2 evergreen cars by Maruti which really need an update for the sake of customers who blindly buy these 2 cars just because of Maruti's brand name in India.
I agree with you regarding the facelift of swift & swift dezire car. But your mistaken i20 is segment above car then swift? I20 is hatchback & swift is hatchback car both same segment car which engine capacity of 1.3- 1.4 litres dear . I10 is mini type car which can compared with beat,Ritz, celerio etc...I don't know which state you and were you felt as baleno has over taken swift dezire,no dear its not the truth. Swift Dezire had good sales in India but now its sales margin is gone down due to ppl moving towards high priced sedan cars with good look & style and more interior options.
Hussain Ali 1) Swift is a hatchback whereas i20 is a premium hatchback(this is what the new segment is called). i20 is compared to Baleno, not Swift. I did not say i10, I compared Swift with Grand i10 and I still say that Grand i10 is a far better car than Swift. 2) I said Baleno is better than Dzire. I did not say the Baleno has overtaken Dzire. 3) You said Dzire sales has gone down, but its still the second highest selling car in india after Alto 4) Dzire is compact Sedans so do not compare it with Sedans. Dzire can be compared to Amaze, Zest, Xcent and Aspire. I said Baleno is better because its always better to go for a premium hatchback that buying any of these compact sedans.

I fell in love with Vittara Brezza after I saw this.... Very well presented.... I was convinced to go for a Brezza only because of this... Thanku Autocar for solving my confusion....

vaibhav kumar

vaibhav kumar the main thing is the build quality of car but Naruto don't know what is build quality!
Give me this with a petrol engine and a four wheel drive, I will build a temple for Maruti.
mutual feelings bro
+Krishnan Ravichandran why petrol?
Avik Chatterjee SUV comes with 2WD too
Vishal Kaushal They arent proper SUVs. Can't do offroading in a 2WD.
Avik Chatterjee but they are SUVs. made for urban needs
I have driven it for 14000km , and am sharing the pros and cons
pros:
1- Dynamics
2- Value for money
cons:
1- Swift ka engine
2- Quality- Windows and infotainment system rattle on even smallest of potholes.
Is Maruti Suzuki going to relaunch Petrol variant Vitara Breeza?
As diesel variant is going to stop.
Yes it is
how is the cooling system especially in the summer the maruti cars lake in
this field i have a swift and i don't feel the ac is on in summer its
terrible what about the breeza its not mentioned any where about the
cooling in any of the reviews
wasn't expecting much from the brezza but it certainly impressed
which one should buy between KUV100 & Vitara brezza? Which one is more compact SUV?
Solid and sensible review, just like the Vittara. Keep up the good work.
I think the most useful thing of breeza i like the most is boot space with foldable seats really comfortable for many purposes whot u say..😁😁
2 Years and this car is still pretty good.
this will be a hit for sure
This worked like a charm, cruising in the sales chart up to 1st place
Overall a good car. But it lacks a punch in its design. I think ecosport surely has the best design. Could you compare with ecosport?
For the very first time I am impressed with a product from Maruti..
On a whole breeza made its way fine...and brilliant comeback by maruthi.....back of the car luks good than its front...good package too..
kindly do a comparison test of baleno and brezza. I know they both are of different class but since there is not much difference in their pricing , so I hope you guys do the comparison soon.
Please tell first vitara breeza lauched date and year. And which company gave engine
which locations do you use for reviews?
am just here to ask if am the only one to think it has a look of range rover
yes Range rover inspired car, that was my first impression too!
Yes
comes in AWD option?? Every month we go Himachal for business purpose. AWD would be nice to go uphill.
Really like the speaking style of the reviewer
dharmi en
is there any chances of petrol versions of brezza..? if yes then when is it expected to hit the roads..?
I want to buy compact SUV
Brezza or EcoSport or duster keeping budget in mind and features suggest me
What about cabin sound while driving on bumpy and potholes road ???Does its suspension can take all ??
The real world often dislodges misplaced skepticism...heavily booked vehicle now with the waiting period up to 10 months!!
one of their best offering along with Baleno!! It'll definitely be the segment leader once the petrol engine comes in.
Real value for money product.
The only thing I would miss (slightly) at this price point is rear AC vents.
which to buy elite 120 or vitara brezza I'm in confusion please suggest me
Wow Topping the C2 segment in Sales on August, defeating Creta, is a great achievement for Maruti
booked last week.. eagerly waiting for my white angel😍😍
Which variant???
When will Brezza, automatic come? Maruti is almost reckless to respond to this customer expectation. Do you think it is better to go for the jazz Automatic, instead of waiting for ever?
At least looks better than the TUV. I feel like Tata Nexon will be the real game changer in this segment.
may I know how good is the pick up of this car when it is fully loaded. uphill drive as well as normal road drive
its awsum in pickup
Shashank Ram Charan
what abt safety features and build quality?
Excellent work guys...... can u please review the 2016 Renault Duster.... and which is better between breeza and duster inspite of price...
Sir I have heard that brezza body quality is not so gud... it’s gets dent very easily also... what’s ur expert advise?
dashboard is bit like rough plastic reminds me of kwid
yes, looks cheap.
Brezza is RearWD or FrontWD?
Impressive Review.. And Maruti has finally managed to make a decently good compact suv. Few questions ?
With no rear ac vents, how effective is the ac ?
Does it come in petrol?
What is the size of the fuel tank ?
How frugal is it ?
What is the quality of plastic on the interiors ?
Is the centre console from the Baleno or Kwid ?
I know that the ABS technology is expensive but I feel it should be made mandatory on all the versions ?
Pricing is cool but SHOULD HAVE: leather seats, 6 speed gearbox, fog lamps for lower trims, ovrm controls as in dzire, a 1.6 l option or amt
liked this concept of Maruti Suzuki. Modifying once failed models like sx4-> ciaz , baleno, vitara and launching them for good...
upload VITARA BREZZA VDI(O) vs ZDI+ variant video ....
Can you please compare Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza with Ecosport and Creta. Thank you.
ya you are correct especially the centre console area seems to be borrowed from kwid
hey when will be breeza petrol version launch & what's the price
Do you think the chasis build quality is better in a Maruthi comparing to its german rival?
Ram prasath rehende bhai German ka haal dekhliya tha!! pole se lag ke 2 mai ho gayi😂😂 Maruti is best!
i like Brezza .........my first choice........
Is that possible to come soon with Automatic Gearbox?
confused between this and Creta. Hyundai has a long waiting time. But, surely this looks better than Ecosport and Duster.
+msec109 Same here.
Creta is miles ahead of the bunch !
+msec109 The creta is much more expensive too
surely go for creta...
+msec109 wait for Honda BRV
When is AMT version is expected. Too much gear changing is required for the current one.
are you sure about the daytime running lights..
its jus normal led pilot lamps and not dlr.
pls confirm. its not mentioned anywhere in the brochure its a dlr.

Ecosport is still a much better option rather than the breeza after revised pricing!
+Deboprasad chakraborty brezza*
Yes, ecosport is much better even now.
Ecosport is rubbish. Too cramped at the back. Gets really unstable at turns.
Bullshit.
Exactly
I am confused between swift dzire & vitara brezza plz advise me which car should i buy ?
If you are looking for Suv(looks wise) go for brezza else performance wise then dzire. I booked Brezza recently cause I have to drive on a hilly road frequently and brezza has nice ground clearance and features as well.
Swift Dzire
vitara brezza
vitara brezza
please do Brezza Vs Baleno. Thats what most of the public wants to know
+Arjun Das . My Baleno Alpha is super. Just returned after a long trip in the hills of Uttarakhand. The car performed like a dream. The handing, power is perfectly balanced. Had to wait 3 months to get it - worth the weight. NEXA is terrible. MS should persist with their existing showrooms.
is there the display infotainment system in vdi (o) varients too?
hey next time please do 0-100 test for every vehicle. And compare it against creta
Give me this with a petrol engine and a four wheel drive, Sunroof and Rear Ac Vents. I will pray for maruti daily morning.
when is the amt transmission coming.?
Safe bet to invest in from maruti, I'm actually waiting for the Ignis !
the conclusion sums it up...very well...great review...
Solid Bull Like looks, squared wheel Arches is a plus .. very aggressive pricing for lower variants. But was expecting more from the ZDI Variant .. after spending 10+ lakhs .. no backside AC Vents, Less Legroom space doors and dashboard plastic not impressive and finally the steering wheel could have been much better with a new design.
vetara must be looking a luxury car
its look like a mini range rover very fabouless car
r they planning a petrol one ?
Yes, not long ago in indonesia, suzuki displayed the brezza (imported from india). It will go on sale on early 2017 in the archipelago. Of course with a petrol engine. Hyundai Creta 1.4 S and Renault Duster 85 RXE, which may help buyers
please show the comparison of creta and vitara breeza
please do a comparison test of all compact SUV
we seriously need it as this segment is flooding.. nd yehh maruti shud upgrade its engine specs!!
Mini Cooper like design, zoomed at 200% and voila you will have a vitara breeza. . .
With the dual tone some colours create magic and the best part about Breeze top model is around 11lakhs on road Delhi.
ballgame
7';
but dear it is only 1248cc would you pay 11 lacs for this
What is approx. practical mileage of this car. Please don`t tell that one which the company claims in its adds...
karthikeya, I think you got a little excited and took gypsy's name, gypsy's name must be taken only when jimny is launched, Brezza is non nexa version of S cross, they got confused while doing the XA Alpha, then thought to bring in life to concept or to re work vitara, and finally did the brezza, but overall like you said, you just cant argue against it, but i hate the steering wheel coming over tour chest, gives u a bolero type driving experience, but maruthi has a superb line up, they must make ciyaz and brezza more exciting with quick refresed models, ciyaz can be made look like a baby cruz but they are not doing anything to it, its sad
if possible plz come out with a comparison between s-cross and vitara !
please know the what is difference between ZDI and ZDI + basic features
vitara brezza top model or creta s+ diesel to buy

A nice review. Thumbs up 👍
"hi5, namaste" good video buddy:-*
Please upload comparison vdo for brezza, ford ecosport, MTuv300.
what about fuel consumption per liter ???
Please do a Vitara Brezza Vs S Cross. So confused between these two cars.
if u want a powerful car , then go for s cross with 1.6 l engine , if u want better looks then go for brezza . brezza will also be launched with 1.6 l engine
S cross is better. But Baleno crushes both of them
Gypsy versus Brezza design...Gypsy wins. I really wish they update the Gypsy and make it more comfortable..it will sell like pancakes.
Can we get a comparison of Brezza vs Creta 1.4
we need a comparo between tuv 300 vs ecosport and vitara brezza and avventura and i20 active
The intro was cool. 👍👍
which is best..s cross1.6 or vitara brezza..??
Ayush Prajapati s cross 1.6
