What "Racism" is once you take the hyperbole and hysterics our of it is really just tribalism (a human instinct). Most people want to live around their own race because it makes life easier. The more you have in common with someone the smoother things usually go. Just look at your friend group. Chances are you all have a lot in common. Like this old white dude probably has next to nothing in common with some young black guy. He can be personable and get along but that doesn't mean he wants to live around him I guess.
