Tropical Storm Debby Cleanup: Clearing a Fallen Tree at Mill Brook Railroad
Вставка
- Опубліковано 12 вер 2024
- Tropical Storm Debby came through and only knocked down one tree here at the Mill Brook Railroad. It was rather large for a sumac tree and it made a bit of a mess on the lawn, but it wasn't too difficult to clean up. Watch the process of cutting it up and loading it on the train, destined for the burn pile.

Mill Brook Railroad is quickly becoming Mill Brook Lumber Company.
Just wait until I can get the track down to the back of the property.
@@MillBrookRailroad MRRBMSC (Millbrook RR Maple Syrup Company!)
@@MillBrookRailroadthat would be awesome! Cory Mears
@@MillBrookRailroadsorry about your chickens. That's sad. 😔 Cory

We wait, oh ya, we really wait....😊😊
So cool! So many people with large properties would opt for a forklift or skid-steer, but you've put in a fun railroad, and made a hobby pay its own way! 😁
You are having way too much fun with all your tools and trains.
That load was impressive
@@mriley4955 Yes it was. Especially with the gondola. My favorite train car on that train. Cory Mears
making chores fun again. your my hero.
And when you thought that the tree saga was over 😉👍
It is over for the rest of last month.
holy crap, a C&O caboose made it way all the way up there? Nice! :)
@@s16100 Yup. It kinda drifted in with the freight one night.
@@MillBrookRailroadis it yours?
Jason Asselin would be jealous seeing those cars loaded like that, and the lumber not falling off, compared to the ELS.............
Shady pines #17 putting some work in on familiar territory before her voyage to new lands, love to see it (also really like 17 being the inverted 71, makes it feel like its history stays with it)
A MUCH more enjoyable way to do yard work! I will think of you the next time I haul my trash cans of yard waste to the curb. The ladies are looking like they are enjoying a good stretch of their wheels in the sunshine.
I hope everything goes back to normal
I'm still trying to figure out what normal is.
I thought Mill Brook railroad was a farm short line, but now I see it's a logging railroad!
It is whatever it needs to be.
Your train likes working and looks real good doing it. 👍 That was a nice shot from across the lawn.
Maybe the wood will help for the upcoming season. I have seen the pellets you haul in great numbers. Enjoy your time you video for us.
where did you get the chessie caboose? i saw it on your siding! love that decoration on trains,
hated when it was retired, was this tree in addition to the first one that came down. thank you
for this sharing this video!
@@artillerest43rdva7 This was after I cleaned up the other tree.
The caboose belongs to Eric.
@@MillBrookRailroad I see the caboose is about as far from the house as you can get it. Any better?
Don
(Sorry…had to say that 😁)
So you passed from steam era wood caboose to diesel time and a steel one.....i know, the wood one belongs to a customer. From far away the
Eric´s is a proof of good taste.
2024 will be remembered as your logging year. Funny raw wood in summer and wood pellets for winter.😊😊😊
Much better for those trees falling on or near your railroad tracks over falling on your house or other buildings. 😉
have you done a layout tour with maybe a drawing for some of us to understand more of the layout by sight ??
Yes! If you go to youtube.com/@millbrookrailroad it is the video that starts playing automatically.
Foreign power on the MBR.
You need a single yellow strip on that gondola
That's up to the owner. It is Eric's car.
The Falling Trees Railroad.... Not so bad I think. It's better then "the cancelled trains veteran railroad" as I thought about them.
By the way. Do You have a garden wood chipper? Selling chips......
I do not have a wood chipper. It would be nice to have one some day.
@@MillBrookRailroad A wish list to Santa....
Tree Saga, Season Two.
What is the green car behind the tank car? It shows up best at 10:40.
That's a Mr-Motion engineer's car. It's not useful for much.
Well, nice shots again, but where was Eric? Did he refuse another tree saga? It looks like Eric is going for a monopoly on the non revenue cars on the Mill Brook!
07:41 at least a crow found it funny...
what's the story on the open top gondola
